 | News Comment | Ipswich Town 2-4 Nottingham Forest - Match Report at 21:01:06
Woeful. Only positive is that we are discussing a woeful performance in the Premiership and not a woeful performance in League 1. Cajuste is at an entirely different level. Great player and shows us what we really need in the Premiership. Overall we are far too lightweight. I wish we were putting up more fight for 3rd from bottom, could be highly significant at the end of the season. |

@Mark. Agree with you about the money, but also worth remembering that the difference between 2nd bottom and 3rd bottom in the Premiership is 3 Million pounds. If we aren't trying to avoid relegation, we should be fighting for that place. |

Those calling for KM to be sacked. Seriously? Back to back promotions and (if anything) victims of our success this season (we got promoted too quickly). Ideally we should have had 2/3 more years to build a team capable of competing in the bottom six. One misfiring transfer since he's been here. I'm hoping KM will be here fighting for promotion from the Championship next season. |
 | News Comment | McKenna: Walton Out For Quite a Number of Weeks at 21:04:31
Sorry to hear Walton is out for a while. Hope he comes back even stronger! Worth remembering the amount of signings McKenna has got right rather than focusing on the one he has got wrong. Obviously we should have stuck with Hladky, but that didn't happen. I do think this could lead to our relegation. Hladky had control of the box, knew defenders strengths and weaknesses and was generally solid when called upon. Muric is incredibly unpredictable, great shot stopping followed by an inexplicable decision= no consistency at all which if you are a defender isn't good at all. |
 | News Comment | McKenna's Gut Feeling No More Ins or Outs Before Window Closes at 16:30:32
At the bare minimum we should be looking at bringing a striker in for Ali. 1 injury and we'd need to bring in Buabo again (and he isn't ready for Premier League football). I'd be surprised if we were not also looking at someone to replace Burns. Maybe the intention is to have Enciso in that strikers role? He's been given the number 9 shirt but he's played most of his career so far in midfield or on the wing. When he has played as a striker he's always been one of 2 (not on his own). Can he hold the ball up like Delap and Hirst? I honestly have no idea. |

Thought he might actually end up as our third striker this season (given that we are already 1 striker down). Shows how little I know! |
 | News Comment | McKenna: Third Number Nine the Ideal But There Are Very Few Out There at 23:05:10
We don't really need a 3rd striker. We need a striker who is pushing Hirst for that number 2 spot. Cressi got downvoted big time for saying we are one injury away from an extremely difficult situation. I'd agree. Our defence isn't exactly rock solid at the moment and if we are also struggling to find someone to put it in the net that's a very, very bad situation. |
 | News Comment | Morsy: Muric Has Become a Little Bit of a Scapegoat at 10:07:48
Muric is (most of the time) a good shot stopper. However, his decision making and control when playing out from the back is highly questionable. He's frustrating as consistency is key with a goalkeeper and he's inconsistent. He's young, and with time we could have a very, very good GK. |
 | News Comment | Ipswich Town 0-4 Newcastle United - Match Report at 20:59:17
It wasn't just Muric. That was a terrible performance from start to finish. We looked poorer in every department except (maybe) quality of throw ins. A few injuries/suspensions and we look a very different team. Ogbene used to be an important outlet for us. He's gone. No Hirst or Delap so lacked any physical presence up front. Feel we look much better at the back when Tuanzebe played. Probably need 3 signings in Jan if we are going to make an attempt to stay in this division. Need a striker. Need a winger/midfielder (to replace Ogbene). And need a really big powerhouse in the centre to partner Morsy (and when I mean powerhouse I mean someone like Gattuso Mark 2). Morsy looks like he's utterly overworked. I'm happy with how our team and club has moved forwards so effectively in the last 3 years. It's been brilliant. But that was woeful and we can expect more of the same unless we make big changes. |
 | News Comment | McKenna: It's a Really Big Game at 00:36:05
Wolves will put us under a lot of pressure and will throw crosses into our penalty area. Sorry, don't think we will get anything from the game as Muric too unpredictable. |
 | News Comment | Town and Burnley in Foster Talks at 10:22:47
Went to the Burnley forum, they are in total disbelief that we are willing to pay that kind of money for him. His market value should be much less now given how he has played for Burnley in the Premiership and Championship. |
