 | News Comment | McCarthy: I Won't Be Driven Out By a Small Section of Fans at 14:43:28
Great, that's cheered everyone up. A small section of fans? The mans completely deluded or a total wind up merchant. Either way, what a nasty piece of work! the club is in decline until he goes, such a shame for those who love the club and its heritage. |
 | News Comment | McCarthy: Simon Says £4m for Hugill at 22:51:00
He just can't help himself, what an arrogant fella this bloke is. He seems to love winding the fans up with his little digs. One slightly improved performance and off he goes again. Just sod off McCarthy. |
 | News Comment | McCarthy: Owner Evans as Supportive as Ever at 21:33:40
Absolutely unbelievable arrogance, these two are playing games with our club and the suffering fans. I'm out I'm afraid, my season ticket and direct debit will be cancelled tomorrow. |
 | News Comment | Milne: Stay With Mick at 13:13:51
Absolutely No, this statement only serves to emphasise just how out of touch the club is from its fan base. Amazing. |
 | News Comment | Bristol City 2-0 Ipswich Town - Match Report at 23:19:28
It's difficult to find something to say that hasn't been said already. In my opinion The gulf between the management of the club and the fans has never been so wide. The distant indifferent approach from the owner to the contemptuous attitude of the manager towards the supporters will only see the continuing demise of our once proud club. This is as bad as its been in 48 years of supporting the town. Watching game after game with hardly a shot on goal and having to listen to the relentless drivel that McCarthy spouts after matches is almost too much to bear. The man treats the fans that pay their money as idiots demanding respect for keeping us up 4 years ago ( whilst pocketing a 1m bonus)' , I'm afraid I shall be voting with my feet even though I've paid for a season ticket. There a more important things in life Marcus evans and Mick McCarthys Ipswich town. |
 | News Comment | Club Defend Mascot Charge at 08:36:30
It's a great shame that the club don't feel able to give something back to the kids and make this experience available to all. In the greater scheme of things the revenue raised is tiny when the PR and goodwill would be huge by comparison. unfortunately everything seems to be about money these days, I agree with all those, the majority, who say that this policy is an own goal. A change of heart would speak volumes. |
 | News Comment | Football - A Game of Emotion - Michael Kemp RIP at 21:56:38
Really sorry to hear this news, he was clearly well liked and passionate about the town. A minutes applause as a mark of respect to a loyal football man taken too soon would seem appropriate. I'm sure this would be appreciated by those who knew him and his family. May he rest in peace. |
 | News Comment | Still No FAI Approach for McCarthy at 11:30:27
So much for our straight taking leader. He's done a great job for us but is obviously just using us until a better offer/option comes along. I would like to see bring in a manager who is committed to the club. |
 | News Comment | Town Topic: Get Well Soon at 21:50:30
Best wishes Paul, you'll be back before you know it. Can't wait to see you action again soon. |
 | News Comment | Hutchings: Martin Thriving in New Role at 09:10:18
Brilliant, Lee is a really exciting player to watch. With his energy he is so difficult to mark he creates the space for the rest of the team to exploit. I think that that playing in this role he is a key part of the jigsaw and one of the main reasons for our current success. I have to admit I couldn't see this coming, a year ago he looked like one of our worst ever signings! |
 | News Comment | Trust Petition Handed to Clegg at 23:30:30
I think It's important that there is an independent trust to keep ME and Cleggy on their toes. I've heard Carl Day on a few occassions and he speaks alot of sense. The supporters of Ipswich Town will be around long after the current owners and mangement have moved on. |
 | News Comment | Chopra: No Bets in Four Months at 11:04:45
Agree 100% but unfortunately you are not describing Ipswich Town FC. We have sold our soul to the money men. The fans Are customers and the club is is a business. The words and actions of the clubs management continually relay this message. I'm afraid this is how it is, we are no longer a family club. Whilst i find this sad the potential for good times at portman road has to be there, money can only be made if the club are successful on the pitch. I'm more than happy to share in the success, should it happen, just don't expect me to be outside with a collection bucket if it all goes horribly wrong! |
 | News Comment | Town Announce New Boro Prices at 17:57:19
Total incompetence and Unbelieveable arrogance in my view. Jewell wants to see the ground full again, he must be having a laugh with this joker in charge having now probably alienated the majority of the 6,000 potential season ticket holders he was trying to win over with his Boro discount. And we wonder why none of transfer targets want to join us, this bloke is a complete embarrassment. |
 | News Comment | Town Announce New Boro Prices at 11:30:36
Excellent blog, spot on. The incompetance and arrogant attitude of this bloke is staining our club, he should go before even more damage is done. It's no wonder that none of our transfer targets want to join us. |
 | News Comment | Council Confirm Rent Agreement at 22:32:04
When you consider we spent 5 million on leadbitter, 3 million on Priskin and around 20 k a week to Bullard paying the council rents that are due, 600k shouldn't really be too much to ask! |
