Yes, it was a terrible result, but trying to put this into some sort of context, and in fairness to PC, he is trying to motivate a team that probable knows it wont be hear next season. Why would would you try and bust a gut for a club knowing that you will be out of a job in 4/5 weeks time ? I think the players have only them selves to blame, as this malaise has been in the dressing for far too long. For whats it's worth i believe the current squad do not want to get promoted, because that means they will have to start earning there wages. They have been found out ! They are not good enough. Either way lets get this season finished, a massive clear out, and start next season with a new squad, high expectations. |

I agree Chrisfelix, he has had his chance, like most of the players, and they have blown it.
As a captain he has done very little over the last couple of seasons to warrant an extension to his contract, plus, he must realize at his age his days are numbered.
