Quality player whose mistakes have been overly critiscised and analysed during a poor couple of seasons where scapegoats have been required - respect is earned not demanded and I like his style and I have a feeling he may just be slotting into "accepted by the majority" status - not quite a legend but his actions over the past year have elevated his qudos in my opinion.

I have to say that contrary to popular opinion I think Mr Bowyer has been a good addition - he certainly did not hide in the bad run - small things stay in my mind , like the tackle back for the corner V Barnsely (which we conceded from) and getting straight up and berating the lef midfield for letting the guy have a clear run then his pass into Chopra for the fourth.... just little things at both ends of the pitch.
Made a very good impression on me and Captain IMO |

Mickeyjb - if you read carefully he states that "I'm delighted he's agreed to commit to the signing of Jason Scotland and this is a massive plus for the club" - its not just about the transfer fee , its salaries and add ons etc - RK himself also stated he wanted to trim teh squad which I am all in favour off as this will mean less unhappy players and a more close knit tighter team ready for a promotion push. I agree we need perhaps another midfield player but do not forget that we have signed Hourihan/Kennedy/Foulop/Odea prior to Scotland !!!

I was in Holland for a foortball Tournament with the intention of travelling back on the fast ship that morning arriving in Harwich at 11.00 with onward travel to Wembley, high winds meant the ferry crossing was threatened as it did not travel well in heavy swell. I arranged with a mate to get on the freight ship which left at Midnight, fortuntalely the weather died down by some miracle with 1/2 to go and the rest was history, the gods were shining on everything town that day. Remember that there were several Town fans on the boat that morning.
Another memory is how easy it was to park around Wembley (Think I parked in Tescos and walked!)
A wonderful day.............................once a BLUE always a BLUE
