1997 pre-WC tournament: England beat Italy 2-0 in Nantes, beat France 1-0 in Montpellier then lost 1-0 to Brazil in Paris.
I did all 3 matches, on the way back from Katowice (beat Poland 2-0 in a WC qualifier). |

I was at the last friendly before Italia90 at Wembley, England lost 2-1 to Uruguay in front of a crowd of approx 25,000.

Lines have reopened following a fire near the railway at Needham Market. Trains running between Ipswich and Stowmarket may still be cancelled, delayed or revised whilst service recovers. |
