 | News Comment | Town Confirm Keane Loan Signing at 12:48:25
Honestly, what planet are some of you on??? Do you seriously think that any decent quality, 'ready to go' strikers are a) readily available, b) willing to come to a bottom of the league club, and c) on affordable wages? This is not Football Manager, for crying out loud! Welcome to ITFC, Will. I hope you have the chance to kick-start your career and dig us out of a big hole for the rest of the season. |
 | News Comment | Hyam Determined to Win Over Detractors at 09:36:46
TBH it's not like Hyam rung up a few journalists and said "I'd like to talk about the fans booing me AGAIN." He gets asked a question by a journalist and answers it. I am sure he is trying to move on, hampstead_blue, but if everyone keeps asking him about it, what is he supposed to do? Shout "Burma!" or something? |
 | News Comment | Return to Adidas Temporary at 14:07:57
Not only were the printed badges done at the players' request but they were also more expensive to produce, I believe. |
 | News Comment | Town in Hunt for Winger at 09:06:36
Why is it that so many fans who comment on these stories can't work out the difference between tabloid tittle tattle and solid fact? "Sort it out, Mick" "Just like PJ/Jim/Keane..." Erm, no it's not, it's idle paper talk until proven otherwise! (rolls eyes) |
 | News Comment | Cresswell and Murray Pipped at Golf Day at 14:05:59
@karls_dad No, I can't possibly see how engaging with ITFC fans and customers, playing golf with them all day whilst raising money for worthy charities is at all positive... Boooooooo everyone!!!! |
 | News Comment | Jewell Hopeful Town Can Cut Through Kourouma Red Tape at 11:48:32
I can't imagine that having to broker these compensation deals in two other languages can be that simple either. Having lived in France and experienced the red tape trying to get work permits, etc, I can appreciate there may be a hold up. Apparently the only european country with red tape worse than France is... Italy! |
 | News Comment | Big Crowd Expected for Palace Game at 12:18:19
Quite right, Frase1987. Any sane business would not be lowering prices. Utilities companies don't car manufacturers don't - what they do is up their marketing campaigns, just like ITFC are doing with this offer. Less people buying, marketing increases your share of the spend. I'm glad we seem to have business savvy at the helm. |
 | News Comment | West Brom Tickets Now On Sale at 19:47:42
See Phil Ham's comment from when you lot were moaning about the price of Northampton Town tickets: PhilTWTD added 20:58 - Sep 29 jas0999 Not sure what it is but there is a minimum that the Football League allow clubs to charge, which, given that the minimum in the FA Cup is £15, is unlikely to be as low as £10. The League take 10% of the income with both clubs splitting the rest. |

 | News Comment | West Brom Tickets Now On Sale at 19:24:51
Before you decide to blame only ITFC/Mr Evans for this then perhaps you lot need to bear the following in mind: 1) The Football League set a minimum price for tickets at League Cup matches, as they take some of the revenue; 2) ITFC and West Brom have to come to an agreement for tickets prices between themselves, as revenue is, I believe, 50:50. Very quick to blame, very slow to get facts right. Same old same old... |
 | News Comment | O\'Dea Had No Hesitation at 16:48:55
@brad548ye The fact that it's a loan till January probably suggests that Keane wants him around while Delaney gets back to fitness and Smith gets a chance for a well needed rest after World Cup duties, so that he doesn't end up injured too. But even you're right that Keane doesn't rate Tommy, if O'Dea is better and available and also still pretty young, what's the worry? |
 | News Comment | Official Receiver to Get Walters Cash at 16:43:26
@hadleighbluearmy Yes, that's right - forget doing what we are legally obliged to do - sod the lot of those silly law-enforcing types! Lets blow it all on a striker then pretend we haven't got any money. Tsk. |
 | News Comment | Stead Loan Move Confirmed at 16:18:29
Aahhh. Target man. There in lies the problem. Stead is has many attributes, but a target man is not what you're getting, I'm afraid... |
