Millwall Boss Tight-Lipped on Bialkowski Link
at 22:01:20

Why are we expecting him to leave?
1.5m is peanuts for an experienced, quality proven keeper.
Norwood is on the same kind of wage. Chambo not far off.
Tell Millwall he ain’t going anywhere.
I’m not expecting him to leave.
Sorry Millwall, don’t expect the Bart anytime soon.
The Bart ain’t leaving, so don’t expect him.

Norwood: Ipswich is a Premier League Club
at 20:53:00

Soho blue. I wouldn’t refer to a tight budget.
I’m delighted but very surprised with this signing.
It would appear the player could have earned more elsewhere, but has chosen not to, and signed for us.
Being free, he will be on top wages, possibly amongst the divisions top earners.
This signing isn’t on a tight budget.
Well done to all who pulled it off.

Norwood at Town to Complete Move

As it’s a free, possibly makes him the clubs highest earner, once Barts gone.
If he scores goals, then worth every penny.

Chambo: Supporters Will Expect a Reaction
at 22:29:58

The club and the team has been crying out for a change in on field leadership for a long time now.
Our win percentage over the last 80 games confirms that.
A win percentage that is an embarrassment to the club and team.
We as a club have decided to reward that leadership over the last 4 months.
And alarmingly have decided to carry on with it.
Time will tell if that’s a good decision made, but make no mistake.
It’s a huge call, and a very brave one.

Disability Liaison Officer Duff Dies
at 20:15:20

A great friend of mine broke his back some years ago. And being a true blue he attends as many games as possible, that being only 2/3 games a season, in recent seasons. With my assistance.
But we could always depend on Warner to sort the tickets, and parking just up the road.
A great man. And Town through and through.

Chambers: Big Pre-Season
at 11:48:17

Give me strength.....Ipswichbuisness look where that's got us....
Can anybody give justifiable reasons why our captain, who is in his 30,s, is going to improve as a player and captain??
Being a great bloke or being a great landlord wont get us promoted.

Yes Dolphinblue great idea....let’s fill the team with under performing players.
And get behind the team, to show our support....get real.

Yes Arnie, agree with what you say.
But the fact is. If we are to achieve any kind of success in the coming season, we can’t afford to be carrying anyone, not for one match and certainly not for the entire season.
Because we have 1 or 2 players who do such wonderful things behind closed doors, that is no use to us in regards to making a serious, real promotion push.
Just look at Luton, Barnsley and Charlton.
And a few other teams who failed to get promotion, they all had good, strong on field leadership.
And defences that you could rely on. Players who didn’t perform would be dropped, no matter who they was. This unfortunately won’t be the case for us.

ArnieM. In answer to your question, any player who consistently performs badly, for the club I love and spend fortunes following.
And yours Dolphinblue, we are currently in the 3rd tier....unbelievable I know but fact.
All managers have picked Chambo, regardless of form or ability.
We have steadily declined throughout that time.
We now look forward to playing the likes of Bury f.c, Rochdale and the like.
This is the level we’ve reached consistently picking players who don’t and can’t perform.
Carrying on in this way will not win promotion.

Currently at our lowest position in over half a century.
He’s certainly done great so far.

ArnieM. You really see Chambo out of the starting 11.?
You see Chambo sitting on the bench as a sub?
You see our great captain out of the match day 18 altogether?

ArnieM you have more chance of seeing pigs fly than any of the above.
Chambo dosent do any of the above.

Alarmingly it doesn’t matter how he performs, none of the above will come into it.

Chambers played a massive part in taking us down.
And he’ll play a massive part in us not going back up anytime soon.
A totally shambolic player, defender and team captain.
Other teams will as usual see him as the weak link and exploit. I know I would.....

Lambert Targeting Both Promotion and Rebuilding For Long Term
at 20:28:50

With captain calamity Chambo leading the team onto the pitch for the next 2 seasons.
A guaranteed place in the starting 11 regardless of howlers in previous matches.
Those who think L1 will be a stroll have a big surprise in store.
While the above continues to be the norm, no promotion party any season soon.

Birmingham Revive Bart Interest
at 19:31:33

The modern day keeper has changed so much, to what a keeper was only 10 yeas ago.
In another 10 years all keepers will have the ability to play on field if required.
It started a few years back and is evolving.
I don’t think Pep would have a goalkeeper who didn’t have the ability to play on field.
Amazing how the position of a keeper is and will continue to change, to the keeper of old.

Gills Keeper Holy at Town for Medical and to Finalise Deal
at 13:12:58

Blues1. As I said, they wasn’t a bad team. Spent a lot of the season in the top half. But conceded a hell of a lot of goals, it seems luckily scored more to compensate.
As for blame....the team put out I’d say?

Town Release New Kits

2 great teams you mention Carberry. Barcelona and the Town of the late 70,s early 80,s. Both achieving the title of Europe’s finest. Personally prefer that white kit, along with Liverpool this season, the best English team ever not to be crowned English champions.....ITFC 1980/81.

Gills Keeper Holy at Town for Medical and to Finalise Deal

Is leaving an ok side in the Gills, as far as a L1 team goes.
A bit concerning he missed no games at all last season. And conceded 80ish goals, only 3 or so more teams conceded more....
