Good points made. I'm a town fan living in Nodge (living in, not born in, thank god) and nothing would please me more than to see the demise of the budgies, but I also can't help but think that them not being in the same league as Town next year is a great help. I mean, let's get past the hatred and admit, they're a better side than us, there squad is worth a lot of money and they've now got more money to burn. I'm happy to receive stick off of my scum supporting friends for another year to see us bypass them soon enough, plus, I won't get the embarrassment of losing to them another 2 times. |

For the money (or lack of, should we say) that MM has spent, we've had a fantastic season, he's sured up the defence, something that hasn't been said in many years at this football club. I, for one, am very proud to be an Ipswich supporter and feel blessed for my team to be in the hands of MM. No, we have not played attractive football, but only since didz got injured, when he was playing, I was overwhelmed by the standard of football that we actually played. If we're not good enough, we will not make the play offs, if we are then great, you can't force a position onto the team, which is what most of the fans seem to do, had somebody said to me at the start of this season that we would be in the mix with to games to go, I would have laughed and thought they were taking the p*** |

A massive opportunity for Ipswich to get into the playoffs now. We do have a difficult run in, and it's been far too long in which the blues have had a consecutive win streak of 6 games! It's a big ask and we may not have the ability to make the final 6, but boy do we have the passion, DROP ALL YOUR PLANS AND GET BEHIND THE TEAM FOR THE REMAINING GAMES! This could be something we may never see again! |

Like PJewellisaGod comment, completely agree! Jonny is a quality player and before CP's win at the weekend, I would have thought that Pulis would be a mug not too take him back! Hopefully this will give us the opportunity to keep him, allowing the team to stay positive. If nothing happens this year we can all only hope that the same effort and passion is injected into next years campaign. COYB |
