The Tucker Carlson interview was brilliant from a spectator point of view. Tucker Carlson, even looked dumbfounded at majority of Ted Cruzs responses.

Blue Action Tifo’s 2025/26
at 06:49 17 Jun 2025

We need to get the club to support getting blue action into the middle of the SBR. Helping improve atmosphere in what is a vital season for us this year.

I understand there was previously issue about displacing season ticket holders who didn’t want to be part of blue actions proposed north stand section. However, the club moved fans to accommodate away fans last season so I see no issue, it is something that could significantly improve the match day experience and have a positive impact on the players.

I’m actually requesting to move my seat to another part of north lower as the people around my particular seat are exactly the types you’ve described.

Downer on my match day experience.

Anybody think our style of play will be changed for next season?
at 07:21 1 Jun 2025

Well said.

This is something many people including media overlooked. We play a back 4 predominantly not the back 5 that is usually touted.

That’s interesting could you elaborate on the process ?

How much input do clubs have do they say a location and the kind of standard they want to face then the third party arrange everything else?

I’d be really interested to know more on this!

Hey, Blueas! You were asking when the gangs would be smashed...

By quoting “ smash the gangs “ Are you alluding to this being a win for Starmer?

When did “ sitting deep “ become a “ low block “ ? Noticed it’s changed over the past few seasons and seems to be the fashion.

Just as a “ clean sheet “ is now called a “ shut out “.

for all the people who suggest we shouldn't criticise reform or their voters
at 18:40 4 May 2025

Nrthsuffolkblue - have a look at this post it is very well put and sums up my thoughts regarding a government scheme to help oil and gas workers transition. For example is an oil and gas worker wanted to work on a wind farm, they couldn’t as different certification is required ( not skills, safety certification ).

You said it is not the governments responsibility ( to help workers they are potentially effectively forced redundancy on ) that is ludicrous. And as this poster says, makes people, even who do not work in the oil and gas sector, feel a certain way. ( think coal miners, steel ).

If this government were to stay in ( which I highly doubt they will at the next election ) you would see many people who are employed within the oil and gas sector made redundant. That would be a direct result of actions by the government. And they have not thought of this or shown any care for it.

One of the reasons that if there were an election tomorrow, I would vote reform.

A policy that would appeal to me may not necessarily appeal to you and that’s essentially why there are different parties in an election. It’s ok to disagree. If there was a general election held tomorrow, I would be voting for reform.

That’s a good point you’ve raised regarding transferable skills to the renewable sector. And actually I agree with you, I believe this is something that should be considered by the government, essentially some sort of scheme for skilled workers who wish to transition or who have been laid off due to the above issues you and I discussed.

Transition can happen, but the transition period required is long term and believe suspending the issuing of new drilling licenses is shooting from the hip.

You seem like you have a lot of knowledge on renewables . Any thoughts on GeoThermal energy?

I’m speaking from someone who works in an industry that will benefit from drilling and exploration licenses being issued once again, in the UK. I’m interested to know your thoughts, feel free to share would be great to hear.

Politics isn’t a one size fits all, what will suit some, won’t suit others and that’s essentially why we decide to vote whichever way we do. And in that regard, I can’t speak on behalf of others I have just answered the question honestly to give some insight as to why this policy matters to me.
