The league position does not lie. Very poor performance today. After the first 5 minutes we looked like we would batter them but after that we struggled to string any passes together. I'm now accepting relegation, it was fun whilst it lasted. We've been here before and we'll be back. |

Dire first half from both sides. Good workout for the defence. Taylor looked dead on his feet. My gran could have saved that pen, the other 9 were quality. The new subbed back three played well, but I do like Burgess forward thinking play, rather than side ways. Morsy also good tonight, had space though and was not closed down as aggressively as other teams we have played. |

Had them on the ropes and are caught out by a better puncher. Spurs did very little to win that game. Enjoyed the game, very open but I feel we'll be playing Southampton and Leicester in the Championship next season Need a fairytale finish to stay up. |

We huffed and puffed. Hutch much better on the wing. Burns is not in form. Harry Clarke turned back into trouble too many times.I enjoy watching us do battle, but we have now played two teams at a level Town need to be operating at and I doubt we are going to get another season in the prem to establish ourselves. |

So close to taking another scalp.. Omari was unplayable, the more I see Cajuste the more I like. Him and Morsy controlled midfield. I'm sorry but when Delap went off my heart sank. Al hamadi looked way off pace for this league. I agree with an earlier comment that Muric was just not aware enough and expected the ball to drop into his hands when he should have been diving at the feet of Rashford. But hey, what do I know, only played Sunday league in my day. |

I watched the match on Peacock.tv. Positives..All of our strikers scored. Chaplins vision for the reverse pass to Hirst. Phillips had a good game. Muric made two good goal preventing saves. Leif for England.Delap was emense.
Negatives. We need to be more clinical in front and of goal.At 2-0, Sammie had a chance to make it 3 nil. Muric...need I say more. VAR...
Talking points. Clarke was unlucky. I thought he got a nibble of the ball for the red card. I wanted to see Delap given more minutes. |

Fair play to Wimbledon , they took their chances. Could have been 3 down if that goal was given. Throwback to Maidenhead game, lots of possession no end product and we were in form back then. This is a new team, liked the look of Clarke and I thought Townsend had a good game. As for the defensive set piece formation, it looked like they had not had time to work on it and the default was to stand in a line half the team man marked, the other half were ball watching. |
