Very fortunate penalty but thank god as Brum fans were like Man U fans thinking they were on some higher plane. Plus there was a clear push in build tto their goal which ref had been penalising all match which went unpunished so all fair in the end. |

Following this signing we need a striker. If you look at Free agents currently available there is one that really stands out (health permitting if which I have not a clue) - Maxi Gomez. Uruguay international who has played nearly 200 games in La Liga scoring over 50 goals, but he is only 28 and is 6 foot 3 so sounds like a McKenna striker! |

Awesome performance by Delap. Champagne moment was at 2-0 when Omari passed to him on halfway and he ran with 3 or 4 Chelsea defenders in his wake and somehow still got a great shot away from a tight angle that then led to 3 corners in a row which pretty much took all remaining fight out of the Chelsea players. Brilliant signing and excellent performance. |
