Must have been something like that. A fleeting appearance!

Not having to play Leeds is already a bonus heading into next season

I had a high regard for MA, but missing you out on a high five….my word 🤨

Next time though….

Peter Reid in a consultancy role

Full respect for the guy, but what the hell was that about. At least we can smile about such strange depressing miserable terrible horrific times now!

I’d nearly forgotten about the heady days of ‘15th place’ 😱

I don’t know whether others had this feeling today, but while I always care about a game and want to win etc etc - it all has an air of being a bit meaningless. The players are still putting in a massive shift considering the season is done or dusted which is admirable and should be recognised, but the atmosphere is different from a month ago. Still positive atmosphere though.

Nearly end of season broad brush conclusion on players
at 20:24 20 Apr 2025

Look at home in Prem

Tuanzebe - please stay pal
Delap - thanks for the memories, genuinely
Cajuste - please stay pal
Hutchinson - just
Broadhead - controversial?

Put in a good shift and true effort, are they lower Prem standard or just exceptional Championship standard? The latter mostly

Morsy - just wish his legs were 10 years younger
O’Shea
Burgess
Hirst - has looked very good when he’s had a chance to play
Townsend - I like
Szmodics
Ogbene - from limited evidence
Johnson - coming good, think will be solid in champ
Woolfenden - love this guy
Taylor - I think there’s more in there, much more. Not sure we’ll ever see it though in a blue shirt
Walton
Phillips
Luongo
Palmer - keeper for a few years I hope
Burns
Chaplin
Walton

I thought would look at home in the Prem but didn’t

Davis
Greaves
Clarke

Uncategorised

Muric - best not to comment
Godfrey - bizarre situation
Philogene - optimistic he’ll come good
Encisco - talented and frustrating in equal measure, will watch his career with interest
Humphrey’s - watched his season closely. Big talent. Could have a big part to play next year

I enjoy Morrison as co comm on R5L games

As an aside, seems like a lovely fella too

Now, I love that Sheeran supports us, promotes us and has raised our profiles in places and to demographics football doesn’t typically resonate.

I also think he comes across as a pretty sincere and nice person who genuinely cares.

But I hate his music still (I wish I could like it but it’s not happened to date), find him a bit cringey and have never really wanted a shirt with his sponsorship on. Although infinitely better than other sponsors in this world, such as betting.

It’s a battleground in my mind I’ll never resolve, which annoys me.

Feels good to get that off my chest anyway.

Axel signing would be wonderful.

Cajuste signing would be what dreams are made of.

Sounds like a captain to me. Desperately hope he hangs around long term.

And a few great puns thrown in there too 👍

Mid and lower half Prem jobs all look pretty secure for the summer now I’d say, and I don’t think he’ll be lined up for the possibly vacant Spurs job.
