Police to Launch Derby Inquiry
at 12:17:54

One reason I don't much enjoy going to away games at Carrow Road is because of the way their police and stewards treat us. They're not exactly welcoming to us, why would they expect different when they come down here?

Season Ticket Prices Rise
at 08:01:47

@Tillz9 - The authority with the high salaried chief exec and the photoshoots is Suffolk County Council, whereas it's Ipswich Borough that the club rents the ground from, otherwise I'd be agreeing with you on that one. Good job really, if it was SCC that owned the ground site they'd be selling it off for profit by now and we'd be playing home games in Chantry park.
On the other hand... that rent rise up 743%... when you look at that as a part of the ticket price, to cover the extra they're charging, if you divide it all by 23 home games, then divide by (say, optimistically) 20,000 average home gate, that would stick 21 pence per fan onto the ticket price. A nice headline grabber, but really by no means the lion's share of the increase. Yet that's the one that the club will point to.

Swansea Back in for Priskin
at 02:11:39

So we loan Priskin out in order to free up some wages for a new signing, and it turns out that the new signing is... Rory Fallon?? You can see it coming...

Ferguson Gutted By Postponement
at 00:37:20

Blueoff... please accept my apologies. You are clearly the man for the groundsman's job, since although he knew that 95%+ of the pitch was fine he didn't expect the unexpected. Forget Keane out, let's go for Ferguson out. And when he's gone we'll all call for you to get the job. At least, we will when you turn 16 and are therefore old enough to work. And have an opinion.

Ferguson Gutted By Postponement
at 00:22:55

There's no doubt that it was a very late cancellation. I had travelled already myself before I heard. But please, ask the ref why he didn't arrive earlier since it's his call, but don't blame the groundsman for the frost.

@ Blueoff "if the head groundsnan doesn't like it then go and join one of the many non league clubs in Suffolk where he will be more suitable, thanks for nothing ! "
Alan Ferguson is the longest serving ITFC star there is, our pitch is legendary through the country for the reputation of it's condition. Why do you think he was mooted for head groundsman for the new Wembley? And why was it him the TV guys came to for opinions when that pitch was so bad?
Thanks to him the Leicester game was completed. I don't think you'll get many supporters for your views here.

Keane: Poor Decision-Making Let Us Down
at 17:00:53

To those who say it was the players fault, not Keane's, well correct me if I'm wrong but apart from Norris surely every other player that took part today was signed by Keane. It was his team out there that didn't perform.

No room for doubt at all, after 18 months and god knows how many millions we're certainly no better off than we were with Magilton. Worse, I'd say. Time to go for sure, give the new man time to try to salvage something from the season, or at least to see what he needs for next.

Walters Set for Stoke Switch
at 13:37:46

This, if rumours are to be believed, because he can't stand Keane and wanted out. Given that we clearly, badly needed to strengthen the side this summer after a very disappointing 09/10 season, how do we all feel about the transfer activity that we have seen so far this summer? Garvan, Walters, Wright, Rosenior etc gone, 5 or so more players told that the manager doesn't think they're up to it, and we've signed 2 players that I hadn't heard of. Thoughts anyone? I know some will say that Walters hasn't been as good last season as before, but he's still been one of our better players, so if he's going who's going to replace him? How is this progress forwards? I hate to come across as Mr Negative, but I give RK till the end of November at most.

Town Set Wickham Price Claim
at 11:23:04

5 players, 3 players, it might as well be 10! The problem is that for whatever reason, players don't seem to want to come here. There's money available now for signings, the right people at the right price, but all our reported targets seem to be either signing for other clubs or staying put. £10m is no doubt a very good price for Wickham, but it's pointless if RK seems not to be able to spend it. I'm bothered that we'll take the money and most of it goes to covering the club's debts, and we end up with no better than we've had this season, maybe we sign Stern John or someone like that, someone who can vaguely do a job as a squad player, and no-one else wants so he's cheap.

Both Wrights Amongst Those Released
at 09:56:46

Seems to me that a right back might be in order pretty sharpish then. I'm a little surprised actually, I thought both Rosenior and Wright were there or thereabouts, without being outstanding, but the competition for the place would keep them both on their toes. Oh well...
Jon Stead... no he's not exactly Wayne Rooney, but who at this level is? He wouldn't be starting every game by any means, but if what we've got left is Pablo, Priskin, Murphy, Healey, Wickham, then it's hard to see that Stead's not up to the mark. The only thing I can read into this is that Keane has plans for a major overhaul of the striking department, in which case I hope he pulls it off.
By the way, just a thought, but Keane was pictured in today's EADT at the Palace game on Monday night. Am I the only one hoping that he might have been having a nose at that Ambrose kid? If Palace go down he'd be one of the first to be tempted to play at a higher level I'd have thought... His dead ball delivery has become really something else.

keenotheenforcer - agreed with above, knowing solicitors as I do I can't imagine they'll be too happy to read about their clients' confidential business on a public forum, and it probably won't take too much working out who your girlfriend is, and she's the one who'll be in trouble, not you. Do her a favour and delete your post before anyone reads it that might take issue with it.

Town Linked With Summer Move for Cardiff\'s Chopra
at 16:03:58

No thanks to Lee Hughes on account of what he did. I support a man's right to get on with his life once he's done his time, I'd just sooner he got on with his life some place else. Unless of course he's working tirelessly behind the scenes to raise money and awareness in respect of what he did with a view to stopping others doing the same thing, in which case fair enough. But I don't think that's likely.

Murphy we'll take for sure; at this level, which is where we'll be next year, he's a goalscorer. Healy i think we haven't seen the best of. Or maybe we have, in which case the best isn't all that... I think I'd probably keep Jon Stead ahead of Healy. Don't suppose you guys fancy Tamas Priskin? We could sort a good deal...?? :-)

P!nk Set to Sell Out
at 22:55:01

The gig is put on by a promoter who takes a chance on the ticket sales. He hires the stadium for a flat fee, agrees a fee with the performer, then tries to make his money back on ticket sales, and then some profit on top. I've done gigs in a similar way, except the venue was a lot smaller and the promoter wasn't risking so much cash! I'd imagine on Pink he'll get his money back, and some. 22000 sold so far at £50 a head is £1.1mil. I'd say he's pretty safe. Maybe he could buy us Torres out of the leftovers???
