 | News Comment | Town and Swans Mfuni 'Approaches Rejected' at 13:47:59
Not sure how reliable or current any interest in Mfuni, although he wouldn't count to our squad size and McKenna STILL has a reputation for player development...even if he is starting to lose his reputation for producing winning teams... the appointment of a STRIKER and not a winger or number 10 should still be a priority... Hirst isnt up to the job!!! |

So if everyone gets contracted then 4 can't make the cut ...27 plus Nunez and Azon take the squad to 29. Does this mean that Wolfie has to move on (sad ... but too good to be a backup, especially to error prone Greaves), Ali... who are the other 2? If this includes Townsend then he may be out until January, but who else has to go? |
 | News Comment | Hutchinson Travelling to Forest For Medical at 13:44:49
Hutchison, Delap and Morsy and to some extent Burgess were a cut above most of the players at the club. That is why they have international honours and that is why we got promoted. Delap was always going to go when we were relegated, Morsy deserved his move to the Middle East and went with everyone’s blessings. Burgess went because management preferred Greaves (although I am not sure fans did). Hutchison is the one who hurts, because town can’t find a player who is good enough to replace him and they worry about going up without him. Town performances without him have not been good enough. But, Hutchison is good enough for the move and should take it. The biggest problem is that none of the business done in the transfer window has brought much excitement. For whatever reason players of the same class as Hutchison was when he came to us aren’t prepared to join McKenna’s team now |
 | News Comment | Neom Linked With New Cajuste Approach at 14:00:25
Time we all started to realise we are going to finish below Norwich this year. No one wants to come to Ipswich. We are too remote geographically and we are a club on the way back down. Not down to McKenna but Ashton just can't get anyone meaningful into the club and we have or are in danger of losing too many without good replacements. PL class players want to play in the PL not with a club who wasn't good enough for it! |

Hardly a surprise HH isn’t coming. He can see that with Town letting go of Omari and not doing enough to get a good striker through the doors, they are not going anywhere |
