Yes winning and being the greatest ever to do that sport. Pole vault world records have always gone up 1cm. Sergey bubka was doing that all through the 80s and early 90s
I'd argue a true sportsman gives everything he needs to win. If you watched him at paris he failed twice and then pulled it out of the bag on his third attempt
But his 'conning' is already the best in history? Why wouldn't he make the most out of a short career. He gave the paris crowd a world record when he already won gold at the biggest event?
In rugby I've played against Kyle Sinkler when he was at Battersea. I gave up trying to tackle him normally so went for a mixture of a judo throw and a clothesline to get him down. I also played against Anthony Watson when his school wanted a warm up match before their final. I didn't get anywhere near him.
The song by Stephen Sanchez is superb. A modern version of Elvis and you could see it meant everything to him to perform with Elton tonight. The wife and I were loving it all but we're not musical people, just loving the show
They do in 7's but in the full 15 it's akin to England v San Marino in football. What's helped the likes of Georgia & Italy to an extent is that their players are playing in the top club leagues in Europe meaning that over the years they have improved. Also the international window is full, 6 Nations/Rugby Championship for the northern and southern hemisphere teams. Then you have the UK summer tours which each team plays a 3 match test series against a southern hemisphere side and the autumn internationals where the big boys go against each other and then may play a second tier nation such as Japan/Fiji/Samoa. That's all before a British & Irish Lions tour every four years. When that happens it's usual for a development squad to tour a tier 2 nation/s
Two reasons it wouldn't work. 1) the 6 unions own the 6 nations not world rugby and they won't go against their own interests. 2) Only Georgia in europe are anywhere near the 6 nations but they would finish way adrift at the bottom.
The only way it would work is to expand it to 8 teams with Georgia/Japan/pacific islanders
Yep they do. As other have said if you're unsure use the NS&I app to check to see if you have won. From this month they have reduced total winning bonds by one but increased the chances of winning higher denominations of prizes. https://www.nsandi.com/get-to-know-us/monthly-prize-allocation
Your favourite player as a child will always bias towards your viewpoint. Pablo remains my favourite town player. The class he had was nothing I've ever seen before and when he done the Charlton back heel, my young self lost all control. I think ronaldo done something similar a few weeks later and motd were gushing over it.
