Apologies for my laziness, not wanting to contact the club... Anyone know if you can return boxing tickets for a full refund like you can for games? Or are all the fees applied non-refundable? |

It's an absolutely moot point. The whole structure of the team is based on the left side almost being off-balance, with Davis playing as an attacking-wing-back, and the attacking 'winger' on that side going inside as a second 10. Playing two wide left players goes totally against that, and I very much doubt McKenna entertains it. As you see when Townsend plays - like you say, he's a decent defender, but doesn't get forward enough and there is just a void on the left. Even seen players just pass the ball out of play to the left, expecting Townsend to be where Davis is, but no one being there at all.
That being said, I do wish we saw a bit more flexibility in the formations to accommodate certain players, but McKenna sticks to his guns and that is his earned right. We can't question him too much - he's a miracle worker in reality |
