Jesus, we’re in the new year and three points clear of third. We were always going to suffer fatigue and injuries at this stage of the season and we all knew the backup wasn’t that strong. A point away at Stoke is a good one, even if they were down to 10 men. It shows how far we’ve come that we were expected to win today. We only lost one game in this poor run. We’ll probably end up in the play offs and, if we do, it will have been a great season. You never know we may still finish top two. Whatever happens it’ll be a long hard slog and will only get harder from here. I’m looking forward to it with great relish. |

There’s an awful lot of negativity. Any team losing their best 5/6 players aren’t going to be at their best. The Xmas period and going into the new year is a tough old time. This is basically a league one squad battling it out with ex premier teams so some need to have a bit of realism. And don’t think we’ll magically sign a few quality championship players in January either. Who is going to let their best players go at this stage of the season? For me, 54 points from 25 games is remarkable. I would have been happy with about 36 for a newly promoted club. We’ll come out of this blip in the new year. |

Regarding the January transfer window - forget signing any quality. Clubs will hang in to their best players for obvious reasons. Very little usually happens in the January window. |

The usual tripe from that canary Blueboy1981 who demands a top performance, win and clean sheet every week. One loss all season and one defeat is 34 league games isn’t good enough for him. The three teams around us were premier league last season, we were league one. I’m proud of what we’re achieving and appreciate this is a tough league and we’re going to be grinding every point out till the end of the season. It’s time to block the pillock so I don’t have to read his nonsense after every game and I can concentrate of the other, far more sensible members. |

Any point away from home is a good one. We’re not going to turn it on every game. Most of these were championship sides last season and no teams are a push over. Our record this season is remarkable. We did play some decent football without a cutting edge. Two big players out as well. We’re doing just fine. |
