Season Ticket Direct Debits

My mum and dad were 60 for one season then they put it up to 65 and wouldn't honour anyone already on the cheaper tickets!

Replica shirts

I think it might be an umbro thing. I definitely saw the adidas ed sponsored shirts for sale in a few sports shops around the UK. They were also being sold in the soccer shop at downtown disney in florida in 2022.

Grounds with small away allocations next season:
at 07:15 10 Apr 2025

Ah but it does in a world of work, school, and ridiculous kick off times.

Leeds away at the weekend, sure.
Leeds away in a Monday night when you have to leave during school and work time. Not so easy. Juggling 12.5hour shifts and school days isn't easy. Espically when it is gcse year next year. Man u during the week was a ball ache. There's only so many bouts of sickness you can have, espically when the telly people insist on showing your face when you're ill (thanks coventry last season!)

Geography matters hugely in the world that exists outside of football

Decent punch-up....
at 20:00 5 Apr 2025

I think the ref may have booked the captain for not controlling them during the celebration. We sit near them and the fans jumped over and ON the fans in wheelchairs and one of female stewards came a cropper and had to be helped off the pitch.
15 point deduction for crowd incitement I say 🤣

We must be about the same age. I sat my gcses in 2000. I was told by my deputy head teacher that I was "ruining my chance of a future as prioritising football was a sure fire way to fail every exam" (something along those lines) didn't miss a game for 4 seasons home and away.

Came out with all A and B's

Spent a lot of time revising on a coach

He sadly went into a home during covid times. I do not know if he's still with us. He had stopped going to away games but was still going to portman road before he went into the home

They allowed it earlier in the season too.

Man behind us who been a ST holder for years spent the 1st 20 minutes moaning about how much of a bad game Ben Johnson was having. He was getting really angry about how much of a bad game he was having..... I get being fustrated at the players but for goodness sake make sure the player you are moaning about, very loudly, is at least on the pitch!

If you are referring to me then you are sadly mistaken. I couldn't care less that there are smaller clubs and smaller grounds. This year has shown how awful the new copy and paste grounds are. I'm lucky that I've been to the old arsenal/spurs/west ham/man city grounds where there was atmosphere and home fans, rather than just tourists.

I've been going to away games for 35 years and, until this season, have never had a problem getting a ticket. I've gone to away days with 50 ITFC fans and I love the fact that we now have a good away following. This season has been amazing. I'm just disappointed that mine and my sons 39 points weren't enough to get a ticket. I also acknowledged that we are beyond fortunate to have been able to make every game so far this season.

The older, smaller away games make for a much better day out than the soulless bowls of late. Bournemouth ground is clearly right for them. I am allowed to be disappointed that we've missed out. As a full time medical student with 12.5hour placement shifts I couldn't make every game last season but didn't miss many. It's just frustrating to have missed out by 1 point, especially if those on 30 points managed to get a ticket. It's a big gap from 30 to 39. It's what the club deemed fair and it is what it is. I posted this morning as it sold out in 30seconds.

There really should have been a 35+ there's a massive difference between 30 and 39 points.

I've been incredibly lucky to get to go to all the away games so far this season and certainly haven't taken that for granted but my goodness I wanted to go to them all!

Sold out in 30 seconds. Me and the boy on 39 points missed out. Beyond frustrated that we'll be losing our 100% record this season!

Highlight of the day yesterday - got me thinking
at 12:14 9 Mar 2025

I was desperate to take my son from the day he was born 🤣 had him in a Friday and would have taken him at less than 24 hours if I could!

In honesty, we tried at 4 or 5 when we sat at the top on the north, he managed the first half and just wasn't interested. His biggest excitement was that there was a player called pringle!

I then waited until he was 9 and took him to a random home game, we now sat at the bottom of churchmans, near the away fans so are much closer to the pitch. He loved it and we ended up with a half season ticket for him. Then covid happened and we all missed the football. He had a couple of rubbish league one seasons. The last league one and then last season have definitely turned him into a football fan. He used to only know ipswich and our players. Now he's a football fan, not just an ipswich fan.

He's 14 and is old enough to appreciate the game, knows the rules, and knows the players. He'll always be an ipswich fan but to say he's seen some of the world's greatest current players this year has been amazing.

All kids are different but 9 was definitely a good age for him.

In context, there's a lad sits by us who spends 90mins on an IPad. His dad brings him every game and has for the last 4 seasons. He sits on that iPad every minute of the game, can't name a town player etc etc. He's 8 or 9 I'd say. He's a waste of a seat as I'm sure there's a lot of other kids out there who would enjoy the game.

Sorry, I haven't really answered have I? I'd say 9ish but if you can give a random game a go then it's always worth it.

I think Jeremy would have made a difference this season. I was gutted we didn't sign him on a permanent contract.
