@juggsy (I can only imagine) If you look properly I put Phillogene and Hutchinson for same position either or but also put Phillogene in subs. What a pointless post not relevant to football, verbal diarrhea or not you still read my posts and give me a daily down mark, that comment alone tells me all I need to know! Next |

How would Mckenna done under Marcus Evans. How do we know Paul Cook wouldn't of taken us up, he signed all the players who did. This Mckenna fan club is getting silly, we are relegated, the Prem going to be no easier if we did get back and we got fans on here saying give Luongo another year, let Morsy stay, J Taylor, be good with Burns back but to get rid of Muric pronto who was keeper of the season in Championship with stats double better to Palmer. I really don't know any club like it. J Taylor wanting to be a regular, Morsy saying we go again, it's all very disillusioned and it's going to get worse if Leicester turn us over that will say it all. |

@wooly74 Why when people disagree with opinions they have to insult and revert to this Football Manager nonsense. Kmk is not the best we have had for years, yes he got 2 promotions, now he has a relegation but not only that has the worst records in the football clubs history, the worst ever, worse than Paul Hirst even. You don't see other clubs crying over managers going like this, Russell Martin took Saints up, O'Neil kept Wolves up, Dyche kept Everton up, managers are based on results and yes Mckenna had success in League 1 and the rub of the green in Chsmpionship and good form of Omari, Sarimento, Halkdy and Moore. He failed the real test so far, Premier League not good enough. |

@pappashandjo87 No nerve touched here, just reads yawn, I never said ever I didn't appreciate what Mckenna has done for the club and I've also said I'm happy to see what he can do but I certainly don't think he is the best thing since sliced bread and don't applaud his failure this season but we heard every excuse so let's see if he can deliver, I personally think he is too young and inexperienced in management for the Prem but also has become arrogant and I don't think he will change much at all, and he just says same things now. Blames everything on anything but himself! I can take critique but it's not about criticism it's opinions. That doesn't warrant foul names and childish anagrams. Available managers with Prrem experience and available with passion, experience etc There is a few Gerrard will come good again, Dyche,Southgate,Carsley, Benitez. Ryan Mason. This is the Mckenna fanclub I know and if I didn't post any different opinion to yours it would be pretty boring. My first choice if Mckenna goes would be Dyche, I'd rather watch 1-1 draws or 1-0 wins and stay in Prem than 3 or 4 goal losses every week, but usually a manager can not do well at one club but do great at another which puts Gerrard in good spot. Let's see how Mckenna does of if as predicted he jumps ship with hero status intact. Not sure where you popped up from chew on this how marny 9's between 0 and 100 If you want to talk football or Ipswich no problem but I'm not entertaining bad language |

I like Ashton and the new owners, Ashton doesn't hold any punches I don't think and has backed Mckenna for the 2 great promotions but I'm not sure he will be happy with these worst records of all time and having to give the owners the same drivel every week of fine margins and no doubt about that's. We know Kmk can produce in League 1, we are not sure re Championship whether that was the insane form of Hutchinson and team momentum so the jury is out, and we know he isnt Prem ready so this is a defining season, his recruitment, his tactics, his ability to get a squad ready who can start off and stay at top of Prem, can he make tough choices on his favourites and move on with new recruits and get the same from them as he did the league 1 lads. I'm not sure he can but happy to find out, will be no hiding this season, he has bought the best in Championship, his first job is can he convince signings that Ipswich is the club to be at, its only a year to get back, will they stay and grow as a team and go back up stronger but with a winning mentality. If he can convince Delap, Cajuste, Tunazabe, Burgess, Hutchinson all to stay he is on to a winner with some new additions, I really think Muric needs fans to give him a chance his stats in Championship are much better than Palmer but either would be good next season I think Slicker will be number 2 and pivotal in Delap staying. Imagine this team starting in July Palmer Tunazabe Greaves O'Shea Townsend Cajuste Humphries Szmodics Hutchinson Phillogene J Clarke Delap Subs Slicker Phillogene Hirst Ogbene Johnson Woolfenden Broadhead Chaplin J Taylor Morsy H Clarke Burgess That's with no signings! Pop a Finn Azaz or similar in be golden. That's signing nobody |
 | News Comment | Taylor: The Plan is to Be a Regular Starter Next Season at 18:04:27
Do some fans not mind if we don't get promoted again? We got 3 transfer windows to get a Prem squad ready, any who won't be in it, should be moved on in those windows, Morsy, Burns, Walton, Taylor, probaly Hirst etc they wont all be in Prem if we ever return, and Chaplin and Broadhead may feel that they better continuing their careers elsewhere their contracts are up next year so do Town cash in and make good profit, I hope for those 2 not yet because if Mckenna stays and we don't go up or do a Luton they are food players in Championship/League 1 |

You literally just agreed with me, your absolutely right the squad wasn't good enough, you can't expect league 1 level lads who were releases from Prem clubs to then go up against superstar players. The starting line up tomorrow won't be far off the team that drew 2-2 with Fleetwood 2 seasons ago. How can you say we havent been embaressed? And needlessly call me deluded, was that nessacary? We have broken worst records in club history , won one game at home and since Muric was dropped, injured conceeded more goals than I can imagine, average is 3 a game now.so you are right we arent good enough and we couldnt beat Saints or Leicester and will probaly finish below them, we could see out games with the right players, the subs and tactics with Davis is our downfall seeing out games. It's not the same rhetoric, I agree we have good foundations to continue success, do I think that will be with Mckenna, Morsy, Burns, Davis...no I don't, in fact I can't wait until that chapter is closed now and taken its place in club history. Best time for Kmk to go before fans turn on him when results turn sour. Total refresh needed in my opinion. Respect your opinion don't think deluded is needed |
 | News Comment | Taylor: The Plan is to Be a Regular Starter Next Season at 17:39:40
Might stay in squad won't be a starter we need a midfield with longevity now who can make step up to Prem or have played there. If Humphries still not ready he will be loaned again but I think he stays we need at least 2 new mids either Cajuste plus 1 or 2 more, I suppose if Mckenna stays Morsy will be kept so Taylor might too but he sounds like he wants football and to keep his international spot but really he should be staying and Morsy going, unfortunately if we have ambition to be an established Prem team neither of them are good enough. Don't mind Morsy staying as a moral booster and cover but certainly not to go back to Prem with. Think probaly keep Morsy, Taylor and Humphries with 2 new mids who start and then they will be filtered out as each Transfer window arises. Very likely cash in on Taylor though at some point. |

@thegeniusofmuhren Happy too, I mean they could literally call any pundit or neutral fan. Close shop, protect lead especially at home, don't use all subs unless needed don't play a wingback who cant get back and try and get some midfielders under 30 who score goals and are physical, do not try and be Pep, just play the long ball in first season, that be a good start |
 | News Comment | McKenna: Everton Will Want a Party Atmosphere at 15:14:42
I just realised with all the injuries and suspensions he can literally field a Championship/league 1 allstars eleven, they will be buzzing to get a pic at Goodison as a memento Walton Tunazabe Woolfenden Burgess Greaves Morsy Taylor Luongo Chaplin Hutchinson Hirst 10 of them if only Davis wasn't sent off they can reminisce about the 2-2 draw at Fleetwood in 23 and the 3-3 draw with Hull in 24 good times |
 | News Comment | McKenna: The Reality is We've Been Very Adaptable This Year at 14:01:16
@doublepivot Who were they in a real relegation scrap with? It was only halfway through season, bottom half yes and like every other club in bottom half managers get changed regardless of who they are. They might of been in a scrap and would of been in a scrap for sure if ourselves and Leicester had a bit more fight and experienced managers. 17th team are 15 points clear with 4 games to go shocking. If we hadn't of given up 2-0 leads at Chelsea and Man utd, put up a fight vs Wolves and held on to a point at Palace we would only be 5 behind with 4 to go and 3 of the bottom half to play which would very much of been a scrap as it was we gave up on leads, didn't have the fight vs Wolves and couldn't hold on at Palace. All those games were lost or drawn late on in games and just points to Mckenna having to 1 Stick with Davis and 2 have to use all subs rather than just hold on for the points. Appalled at Dyche playing style, he and Moyes play exactly the same way! |
 | News Comment | McKenna: My Phone is Reachable For Promoted Bosses at 09:13:57
Why would they ring you Kmk? So you rang managers of relegated clubs to say "Sorry you got relegated Mr Kompany, we have been promoted, quick question, how do I keep my job, even if we go down but I get a big move like you with no questions asked?" Kompany replied "Very simple baffle fans with these words, journey, fine margins, process, refs, big leap, fine margins again, lots of no doubt about that's, injuries, principles, lads had good day out, journey, lots of effort, more fine margins and the classic the gap is too big and never ever accept responsibility yourself then when you go to the next club just say you have left the club in a stronger position than when you arrived, it's easy, hero status and nobody is any the wiser, then at next club the players will do all the work and you look great" I dont think Scott Parker or Lampard etc be in any rush to call Kmk who has got himself cult status but the worst records in the club's history. How to get 1 win at home. |
 | News Comment | McKenna: The Reality is We've Been Very Adaptable This Year at 08:50:08
@dissboyitfc ? Lol they are 1 position higher and still in the Prem, when Dyche was sacked they were 16th they are now 15th and beat us comfortably at home. Dyche and Moyes play same game defensive first. How priceless, maybe should check stats before dissing me, made me chuckle though |
 | News Comment | McKenna: There Are Going to Be Quite a Lot of Late Calls at 23:36:33
@blues1 I still think my points are thought out as are yours, we all support the same club, I said midway through season that Mckenna had bought players with the Championship in mind and did the right thing getting the stadium, training ground etc Prem ready so when we go back up investment can be made on players. It is for this reason I do not think Hutchinson, Delap or any of them have relegation clauses and especially not at 30 mill and if he is Man City will want him back which Delap doesn't have to do if hr doesn't want too and can stay at Town, it's the same as the Phillogene Villa situation. 30 million for a player tipped to be the next Harry Kane not going to happen I dont think and I don't think.Ashton or Man City would of done that deal. Nobody expected Delap to get the plaudits like this. I looked and all the same stories were out about Adebayo last Summer. I think Liams Dad will tell him to stay, what club is he going to start at, defo not the top teams, Halland, Solanke, Bowen, Cunnah, Mateta, Hoijlund, Wissa, Isak, Evanilson, Jackson,Trossard,Watkins, Jimianez,Pedro, Nunez, Beto? I dont think he would bother going to a newly promoted team, Everton I don't think is a step up for him, I just really think he loves playing football and would rather play with his mates at Town right now only 22. If I was his agent Id be looking at Town to give him Prem wages still and remove the 30 mill release clause, in fact Ipswich could pay Delap 10 million sign on fee in new contract and change the release clause amount which i think they might, Delap is worth more to Man City and Ipswich by staying put. Even if he stayed until Christmas they could renegotiate. If your 22 and offered to renegotiate with big sign on fee to play every week and possibly get a Championship winners medal or go and sit on bench at Chelsea and get 10 mins and cup games I think he would stay. It's the same with Cajuste and Hutchinson rather than sell, renegotiate with who we have, if they renegotiate with Delap they could even give him 20 mill and put a release on of 60 mill for next season. I would be happy for Mckenna to stay better the devil you know, I just think we need a reset now and see no point in keeping Burns, Chaplin etc for their sake and ours. We have 3 windows to bolster the squad before a return to prem which if we kept all the new signings we would walk the Prem. We don't need to be rude or use bad language towards anyone it's just opinions and im sure a bit of yours and a bit of mine will be where we end up. I just think Mckenna has a golden opportunity to make Ipswich a really good team and playing together in the championship and getting a winning mentality can only be a good thing. I think Delap will stay. Id love Davis to stay but I just cant see why he can't convert to midfield behind Clarkeand in front of Townsend what a left hand side that would be. Let's see what the Summer holds, midfield is crucial. I really would like fans give muric a chance his stats for Burnley in Championship were insane but I also get a feeling Slicker might be number 2 and will have quite an influence on Delap as will Sheeran. Think Palmer might go. My ideal 11 come July Muric H Clarke O'Shea Greaves Townsend Cajuste Humphries Szmodics Hutchinson J Clarke Delap Humphries will either be great or not ready, still looks sleight to me, love Finn Azaz. Apparently Town were looking at Eric Dier. Anyway all good let's just keep to footie chat |
