It is one of those years its really hard to pick out because the whole team has been outstanding. Did you honestly think last year that Burgess and Hladky would play such a prominent role 'cos i didnt. Leif has been absolutely outstanding and such a very important member of the side, he's my runners up. But as I have said before and Arnie M says above, its Sam Morsy, it was also Morsy last year, he is the heartbeat and I hope he can keep playing 'til he's 40. One of our best ever signings IMHO and thank you Mr Cook! |

I don't believe that considering FFP and the fact we are a championship club that we would bid 1 million on a 33 year old who, however good, isnt a week in / out starter. ( he may get in over broady due to form or injury at left wing but he isnt dislodging leif or wes as an inside forward IMO ) It may be true that we have bid for him and for eg, if we get promoted, if he plays 50 games and if he gets 20 assists the fee in total could be 1 million, of course, that is very different however to the headline! Whilst we are all waiting on a striker with no-one i suspect more desperately trying to make it happen then MA and KM, this guy is a leader, combative with a great engine, only 25.
We all love Sam and Mass but they are not getting any younger and are always going to pick up bookings. This would be a fantastic signing for the now and the future! As ever, as per the Stansfield signing, once its reported on this site I take it that its 90% plus likely to happen! Up the farkin Towan! |
