I personally feel this is just Fulham making noise to try and negotiate a better deal or speed up the deal for Walker-Peters.

Burnley and Leeds in for George Hirst....
at 06:33 24 Apr 2025

Not saying I want Hirst to go as I think he will be our main man up top next season. However, given his injury records from the last two seasons if a huge offer came in, we should seriously consider it. BUT we simply must have replacements lined up first as we will 100% end up paying OTT.

Dara O'Shea ...
at 06:28 24 Apr 2025

It is quite likely he will have a relegation release clause like Delap so hopefully he doesn't gain that much interest. For me he is in our top 3 signings of last summer comfortably. Also he is almost nailed on to be club captain once Morsy retires.

Who do you want (realistic names only) us to sign for next season then?
at 06:48 23 Apr 2025

Adam Armstrong for me. Pretty sure I remember us trying to go for him at the start of our championship season before so Mckenna is clearly a fan. Then when the saints came to PR for 'that night' I remember him and Downes being their standout players... Would happily take both!

Any regular users of A14 west of Huntingdon ?
at 07:04 7 Feb 2025

Isn't the main issue the raised banking leading to the bridges that has sunk not the actual bridges itself? Either way not ideal! Similarly the A133 towards Clacton (the bypass bit built about 25 years ago) had the exact same issue. The banking leading to the bridge over the railways line sank giving a jolt as you went up onto the bridge. Think they had to continually reinforce the banking for about 20 years with reduced speed limits, again presumably to reduce the impact on the joints...

Was anyone expecting more signings by this stage of the window? (n/t)
at 06:33 19 Jan 2025

Nope, we are just over halfway through the window and we have secured 2 key players. Only expect us to get another striker in if the right deal comes along. Saw ELL scored again yesterday but seems he is off to the MLS

Muric will play tomorrow.
at 06:28 19 Jan 2025

Weirdly I was thinking the same thing. Walton hasn't really put a foot wrong but that assault by the Brighton forward only 3 days ago might just be KMC opportunity for once last roll of the dice with Muric...

A trip to Reading next season

Really? I think Reading away is a poor away day at best! Soulless bowl of a stadium on a retail park miles out of the actual town!

Agree North upper is the answer. It has a larger capacity than the lower and has plenty of seats that aren't allocated to season ticket holders already.

I would 100% move up there with you! The acoustics of the lower tier are dreadful!! If the club would do safe standing or just allow it in the upper tier that would be a gamerchanger too!

Leppings Lane End

It is a terrible stand. When we went there earlier this year the concourse area was extremely overcrowded at times, sadly it does seem lack of stewarding in the stand could be an issue. Yet there were dozens outside searching us!

Atmosphere and general thoughts
at 17:19 8 Jan 2023

I keep on saying to people I really wouldnt be that gutted if there was to be some kind of issue with the current North stand that would require it being demolished and rebuilt. With our current regime I feel there would almost definitely end up being a kop style stand like it should have been. Yes I know about the houses behind etc but blimey is it really that much less invasive the way it is now????

On a side note I really do think some kind of fascia panelling put on the under side of the 2nd tier's overhang would make a huge change in the way the sound would travel all around. At the moment if you are towards the back of the lower tier there are so many different angles which simply block the sound of send it in the wrong direction. It wouldn't be costly and the difference would be night and day!

Didn't make the game unfortunately through illness but did it have the exact desired effect?

With regards to moving BA there permanently, Palace managed to do with their lot. Why can't we?

Woolfy is so underrated
at 09:36 11 Dec 2022

Been saying for years he is a very gifted footballer. We are very lucky to have such a player at this level. I remember seeing him in a friendly against West Ham and he made Arnautovic look bang average, was relaly excited to see him line up for us that season. 2 days later he was loaned out to Swindon, shocking decision!!
