'Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results.' I'm not sure Einstein had McCarthy in mind when he said that, but that's certainly supported by repeatedly putting disaster zone Gerken in goal and playing Chambers at right back when we have more capable players sitting on the bench.
HOWEVER, we have not lost like this for a long time and hopefully won't lose like this again for some time. Maybe this will kick the lads back into gear with everything still to play for this season. |

I know we have a long way to go but this is certainly the best start we've had to a season for some time. I think that last minute draw at Brentford is stuck in our players' heads and has actually motivated them to do better; 4 wins from 4 since then. Would our players be as hungry and determined as they are if that didn't happen? |
