Dear Sirs
Trust you are all well.
I would like to protest most strongly against today's decision by the FA Disciplinary Panel to not only uphold John Stead's (Ipswich Town) red card against Crystal Palace on December 26th 2009, but to increase the ban from 3 matches to 4 because the appeal "had no prospect of success".
Whilst I understand fully the need for the FA to back up Referee's decisions, the tackle in question was seen by many (including both Crystal Palace players and management) as worthy of a yellow card at worst. Surely this gave every prospect of success at appeal.
This decision was not in the interest of Football in this country and will be seen even to neutral supporters as sending Roy Kean a message, it should be investigated immediately to see if the F.A.'s panel of individuals were conducting their self's with out being compromised.
I would be grateful if this matter could be given your urgent attention and I wait you speedy response.

What a disgrace this is a total insult to blind people because even these unfortunate individuals given a description of what happen of that event with no pictures would have disagreed with a red card.
This I feel was more about the FA sending Roy a message early in his management career not to appeal lightly.
I hope those people who served sentence on the panel can look in a mirror over the next few days and know they made a right call for football.
As my father says “life is not fair! When you find fairness stand up and applaud it loudly as you it is a scares commodity”
I feel the message was for Roy and poor old steady was on the end of a bigger picture here.
Blue Army! Just got tickets for Leicester …..wonder who will be playing up front!

Just think what small difference would have made if he had of been fit last 10 games.....lets say…. 2 goals 1 assist .......at a guess….. that may have been two more win extra 4 points?......but we will never know!
Having him back will be like a new 1.5M signing! Sounds like he is chomping at the bit to play ......I would play him for 60mins on 28th!
Has UEFA 1981 gone home in his space ship……..or is he waiting for our next defeat on pounce to condom the team……

UEFA81.....what time does you space ship go home? As I feel you are just an Alien white mouse when it comes to football, where is your passion (been beaten out of you by your wife, you really are a big white mouse.....do you know where the saying white mouse comes from??...look it up!) If you can not support Roy and the boys then craw back under the rock you came from (not sure which planet…Mars?)
And come back out from it in ......emmmm Never!
What a sad little man you must be to spend so much time on this site winding people up, you need to look in the mirror and have a stern word with yourself.
Now finished my rant, I have been reading site all season and I had promised myself I would not comment until after Xmas but UEFA81 needs to take his medicine or after Xmas he may be in the Nut with all the bad eggs……. bit like Charlie and the chocolate factory!
So as a season ticket holder who go's to away matches too, if been a season of adjustments from the first game of the season for the fans the players and the Manager it's a bit like cleaning out your garden shed let me explain……
You open the door you think what a mess needs sorting out! I need some new tools and I am going to throw some of this lot out, (all good intentions - start of the season) then you empty the shed making a bigger mess. (At this point you wish you had not have tinkered — “some of you will never play again for me, a few games in)
You start to put the tools into place that you want to keep and a pile up the ones you want to junk as you near the end of the process you realise you can not afford to replace them all at once and start to put them back in the shed as they can do the job for me for a while given a good clean. (This is where we are today)
Attach human emotions ego's to the mix and what is now evident is Roy is the boss and if you ware an Ipswich shirt you play for the club and you put in a shift for 90mins for the fans. We may have the same tools at present in our shed at Portman road but my god…… the cobwebs have been cleaned down!
Given time I feel Roy will move this club to a new level I will be honest even I was concerned 5 games back ……..But I feel the story is about to unfold.
I will be blue until my heart stops………….Blue Army.
