I agree that we dropped to deep and allowed Derby to much room to play in, I don't think we were that bad but we had absolutely no cutting edge up front, that would be my worry. But it's a work in progress and I hope PH isn't to round to change things if he needs to, don't forget this is a learning curve for him as well. |

TimmyH, this is a major rebuilding job and we are not going to be pushing the top six this season. Paul Hurst and the new guys, whichever league they have come from need to adapt to new surroundings and a new way of playing. It will take time, probably a few months at least and if the performances are of the footballing kind we have seen so far then I'm sure things will come good.Blackburn are going strong, villa are going strong, Exeter are unbeaten only a last minute goal at Rotherham denied us a point. Keep the faith and I'll see you all at Pride Park tonight. |

Maybe he needs a loan spell in league two as his next development step, that is of course if we get some cover ourselves. Would be nice to see him given his chance here when required though. |

Get the best deal we can. It's obvious now that the player wants to go so best for all parties if Waggy moves on. This is one massive rebuilding job which is going to take time, maybe more downs before the ups. Disappointed yes, maybe we can get Nugent as part of the deal. |

Credit Mick for making a change at halftime. Dozzell was anonymous in the first half and we needed beefing up in there. Agreed, he's not everyone's cup of tea but it was a change that needed making. You can't soley heap all the blame on his shoulders. You can see the absolute lack of confidence and self belief all over the pitch, it says something when your best defender is your striker ! Without Freddies chasing back and workrate it could easily have been worse today. Jordan Spence looked ok and Keifer Moore will cause problems with his height but i am so grateful there's worse teams than us at the moment...but they could soon catch us. |
