Hey Jude pre match..
at 02:13 4 Sep 2025

This comment is quite sad, I am a long time supporter living in Australia since 1982.
I clearly remember singing Hey Jude for the first time in 1975 against Leeds at an FA cup match at Portman Road. It was strange that it was sung spontaneously as if everyone had done it before. I had never heard it sung before then.
It was our song up until 1982. We did not need prompting by the pa etc. I believe that is OTT.

How long do we keep going with the ‘new team has to gel’ gimmick?
at 05:34 1 Sep 2025

The team were decimated by injuries. Ensisco played only half of the possible games through injury. Both Clark and philogene got injuries so they never got to play much either. Add to that a new midfield this season so it was always going to take a while before we are really clicking along.
We have players coming back after serious injuries, who needs time to get up to speed.
We need to improve, we have the personnel, just give the new boys some time. The more they play the better it will become.

In terms of playing position history he is very similar to Delap, I see him being coached into a CF by KM

How about looking to the future. Our squad is improving, our game control is getting better, it won't be long before it all falls into place. A few new quality signings to plug the gaps and we will be fine.
I can't see any point in getting angry about what's going on, when we cannot change anything about it. If anything slagging players off because they may have a few bad games will never make them better.

By the same Logic, We took 4 points of Chelsea last year, so we must be champions of the world.
Absolute moronic deduction, no relevance in football at all. Have you never played or are you under 12??

When our midfield and strikers gel we will be fine. We have to be patient with new signings and lack of preseason.

This, Still our player. I think a chance he stays for a year under KM to develop into a top inside forward/winger. He has the mentality, I see a very high ceiling.

Being concerned about lack of signings is no longer bed wetting
at 05:24 27 Jul 2025

In an ideal world we buy/loan a striker and 2 DM's. Any 2 can be loans but they all must be a real improvement on who we have now and have KM attributes.
Getting these players however requires a lot of hard negotiating and critical timing. If we manage to get any before the brum match it will be a near miracle. It's just unfortunate for us that we play a couple of our main rivals first up, and before the transfer window closes.
I can see why people are concerned but it's pointless to worry unless you can do anything about it. I am sure everyone involved in signing new players are working there butt off to get these players in asap.

Ashley Young - medical completed...

Both Clark and Johnston could learn a lot from him. 40 is the new 30.
I was fitter and played my best football when I was 41, at a much lower level. we all age differently.

Why do I still have hope?

I would always clutch at straws rather than give up.
If our boys can string together a few good games where we don't shoot ourselves in the foot then it's still possible.

Do you think Sir Bobby's first season in the premier league went well? It did not. Such a big gap now between the top 2 leagues it is close to impossible to compete without spending less than 300mil. in the first year.
We would be foolish to right KM off if he was keen to stay. Sadly, I am sure he will be picked up by a Prem Club soon.
