Agree it's a great place to live, unfairly maligned by lots of people who have never been. City of Culture made a big difference as generated lots of investment. |

Worked there from 2014 to end 2016 and still go back a bit.
If it is just evening stuff then would say go down to the Marina as a few decent bars/restaurants down there. Same with Princes/Newlands Avenues and not far to go and bus services not bad . Might be worth seeing what is on at Hull Truck as they used to get decent comedy gigs.

Don't think that was his fault though. He did a really good interview in Turnstile Blue a couple of years ago. |

Seems very much part of things, judging from EGM. I am actually quite pleased about that as thought he was put in an impossible situation under Evans. |

Very impressive - they all say the right things, talk a lot of sense and do it with passion.
Some good questions as well, good to see that people largely avoided going on about the past and focused on the future. |
