 | News Comment | Blades Not Giving Up on Waghorn Pursuit - Report at 10:20:49
Here is my thinking. 1) if he doesn't want to be here and wants to move up north then sell, we don't want anything but 100% commitment this season. 2) if we are going to sell then follow the market. look at people like Mccormack -12m, Waghorn worth just as much as he was. Town need to stick to there guns on this one, we don't want to lose him but everyone has a price, 10mill should be the minimum we take for him. |
 | News Comment | Town Step Up Bodvarsson Interest as Pitman Closes in on Pompey Move at 13:21:09
have to be honest! im not convinced by this. Im very concerned by our Striker scouting. First garner - never scored more than 7 goals in 1 season playing in the championship, and could only score 7 in the scottish prem. now Bodvarsson - Never scored more than 9 goals in any league season. neither of these are what i consider the front man we need. I am happy we are freshening up the squad but we need a prolific striker and we havnt had one in years. |

 | News Comment | Marriott Joins Carlisle on Loan at 10:18:50
WoW just Wow I cant see how any of you see this as a bad move. The loan is for 1 month, he goes out gets some games gets match fit (fingers crossed scores a few goals) and comes back hopefully in good form, we then have Mcgoldrick, Murphy, Marriott all in good form, plus if Salmon can show us what he can do then great. |
 | News Comment | Town Topic: Ten Years After at 11:38:53
For me the best game during this period was the Play off final, the date was 29 May 2000 it was my birthday my first ever away game just me and my dad (and thousands of town fans) , best game of my life it had everything. As for players there are a numbers of players who excelled in a town shirt during these years but for me there are a hand full that go down as legends of this club, Fabian Willnis, Matt Holland, Jim Magilton and Richard Naylor. Holland and Magilton were the strong hold of the midfield. Can any one honestly say that in the last 20 years has there ever been 2 players who loved and played with pride for the shirt than Fabian And Naylor. this for me the missing key from the crop of players we have at the club now, Who in todays squad can you say is ipswich through and through. i wish PJ would get some players who take some pride in the shirt they wear. |

 | News Comment | Experimental Price Cut for Middlesbrough Clash at 12:10:19
AS much as this is a good possitive idea, picming a game on valentines weekend isnt ideal. If they wanted to complete a more comprehensive trail why not drop the prices for the last 5 home mates. Its good to have a more healthy crowd for one match have a fuller stadium for the final few games woudl be a real boost for the team. |
 | News Comment | Duo Offered New Deals at 08:26:41
Nice to see young guys being offered conttracts but surly it would be worth while to offer them a 1 year contract with a 1 year contract extension depending on first team apperances. |
 | News Comment | Chopra Nominated for Award at 13:42:57
Good Luck porky chops. Over comming your demons is never easy and it is going to take the all of his will to defeat them. At the same time i feel the fans should get behind him and show him sort of support i know Ipswich fans can give. I hope this award restores some confidance in Chops and i have full faith he will find his form again in no time. |
