I love a war film, but I have to say I just didn’t think it was very good. That said, I did watch it one evening after a Town game and I was pretty hammered, so perhaps should watch it again.

Currently working 3 days in the office, 2 days at home.
Given I work in the portable office industry, I wasn't too sure what to expect, but we've come out of this relatively okay at the minute. We're only a small business which has around 300 units out on hire, and we had 20 (or so) ask us for reductions in rate for a couple of months whilst they decide what they're doing (and we happily agreed).
We have had a couple of customers send units back as quite rightly, since WFH they've realised they don't need the units and once this blows over they will continue to WFH. On the flip side, we've had several customers take more cabins from us due to having to spread people out over the 2m rule, so that's been decent for us.

Sitting in the garden having a couple of beers taking in the rays.
Back to work tomorrow and then off on Wednesday for a week. Was meant to be going Turkey, but hey ho, a few walks around the suffolk countryside will make up for it....

I think it’s been like that for weeks, certainly in supermarkets. I mentioned it on here the other week, but Asda up at Whitehouse is just as busy as it normally is on Friday evenings (when we go shopping). The security people are definitely letting more people in, than those coming out. What gets me also is how people can’t follow such clear and simple instructions and follow the arrows which are marked on the floor. It’s really not that hard. People coming at you from angles, leaning across you to grab a rice packet, or tin of soup, quite uncomfortable at times and this is coming from me who’s not normally fussed by stuff like that.

I’ve signed up with a PT for when all this is over. At first I thought ‘only be a couple of months and hopefully be back in the gym’ however, a couple of months later, a bit heavier in weight, and no sign on the gym’s opening anytime soon, I should start cutting back. That said, I do go running 4 times a week, if I cut back on the food and booze, I’d have probably lost weight along the way.
I was never a home drinker before all this, but I’m going through booze like no before at the minute. In my 10 odd years since turning 18, I’d never touched wine, now I’ve got myself really into it and probably going through 4/5 bottles a week, plus a few beers each night.
I started back at work last week, so hoping to get a bit more normality back in my life (I’ve been working throughout all this, but have been at home so drinking in the evenings hasn’t been an issue).

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, this country is f*cked with that absolute tool leading us. How he even got close to becoming PM is beyond me. Utter c*nt.

Or use it as an excuse every 5 minutes like he was at the start of the season, even though he was barely playing the kids.
Reasons to be cheerful

I wish I could be cheerful about us. Everything is just a bit 'meh' at the minute.
Downes and Woolfenden (and I suspect Dozzell), will be sold for a fraction of what they're actually worth. I don't think we'll sign anyone to be honest, and I suspect we'll rely heavily on players returning from injury and those academy lads who have been in and around the first team this season to plug holes (McGavin, Dobra, El Mizouni when he was here).
The fact that Donacien, Nsiala and Kenlock could all become key players is quite a shuddering thought.
I'm sorry Mr Jackson...

Agreed. I think if we could recoup what we paid, then I think I would sell him, but that seems very unlikely, so we may as well keep.
I'd be fine with Jackson going

I can see them all going, unfortunately, and probably for a lot less than what their worth is (as you say, Evans will need to plug that hole one way or the other). Suspect if Dobra kicks on this/next season, we'll be in a similar position with him as well.
These are the days

I suspect for Evans he's probably one of our only sell-able assets at the moment as well, which may come in to it.
What a disappointing season.

An utter shambles, followed with that pathetic 5 year deal for Lambert. I think that really did just about sum up Evans ownership of this club.
From my own personal point of view, I’ve just got to the stage of not giving a sh*t anymore, very much like towards the end of Mick’s time here. Rarely enjoy going down to PR as you know it was going to be sh*t.
Renewed my ST again like the tit I am, and I’m really not sure why. I’ve always used the excuse ‘not arsed about the football but at least I can meet up with the lads and have a few beers’, but I won’t be doing that for a long time.
If Evans had anything about him he’d get shot of Lambert, now, and get Nathan Jones in as his replacement ASAP.
For now though, f*ck football, f*ck Lambert and f*ck Evans.
