Personally would prefer to see Marriot starting, or some of the trialists...after all they are on trial so surely these are the games to see what they can do. Not as down on Nouble as many others but think he is better in midfield than upfront. |

I can only echo what has already been said, shame about Carson but then I trust Mick & Lee seems like a sensible choice if he can still provide some cover, as already said he's at the club anyway so why not. The whole Norwich thing is a moot point, it's just a bit SAD that some ITFC fans have this attitude. In business when your firm takes on someone from your competitors; it's considered a result yet in football it's the opposite, all rather silly IMO |

Very rarely comment but it always saddens me when we lose a player and have to pay them off. However, he really hasn't performed anywhere near his potential and although I was very pleased with his signing initially, I am glad to see him move on. It's sods law that he's going to have a great season and bang in a hat full goals but if he'd stayed with us he'd have done nothing. I doubt we'll be getting Ebanks but I would love to be proved wrong as Murphy, McGoldrick, Taylor & Blake would be a nice balanced set of strikers to select from. Whatever happens I think we are stronger now than we were last year....the Sky thing is BS (I'm emailing them after this) I live in Edinburgh and don't get back very often. In Mick We Trust COYB |

Been reading this blog for a long time but this is my first post.
I was completely against R Keane as Manager - I STILL find this appointment to be baffling - No idea what Clegg/Evans were thinking (Surely Rednapp didn't advise on this one!)
Then I went from being happy - we got shot of Keane - to being miserable again with the appointment of Paul Jewell. I'm not one of the "haters" on here, I've just never been a fan of PJ as a manager previously and didn't think he would be good for Town.
With all the rumouring pre PJ's exit I was (pleasantly) amazed that we had been linked with McCarthy, I'd even said to a non town fan "We'll not get MM, he's going to be too expensive and be looking for a bigger club". How wrong I was.
Absolutely delighted that we have made this appointment, this man produces great championship teams, has got 2 other clubs out of the toughest division in European football. He is also no mug and will put the boot up the backsides of players not performing.
Good luck Mick, kick some ass and lets move up this table...COYB
