I read earlier that he came third in their player of the year awards so he can’t have had too bad a season.

Fail to see any negatives here. Leigh has been a fantastic part of the squad but Williams has good pedigree and can play a number of roles. McKenna knows his character as well as qualities, which we all have come to know is a huge part of this squads mantra, evident already in our opening 3 games!

Very tough first half. Tactical masterclass at half time, executed perfectly until we found ourselves 2 up against 10 men. They were always going to huff and puff but plenty of learning points. 3 away points to start the season and hopefully reinforcements on their way! |

Agree with the above, speculation is part and parcel. Whilst I think MA has been great and will continue to do a sterling job, I disagree with him on this one - agents and clubs talk all the time, fan speculation is a mere drop in the ocean and can’t imagine it hinder many deals.
