Wouldn't call it a copy and paste failure Phil, the whole quote comes from your earlier article? 🤔 |

I'd like to see 11's across the decades as well as individual eras. What do people think and what are your 11's? |

If we had had a rub of the green results and refereeing wise may be we would be 6-9 points better off, would we be having the same discussions? Only a thought.... personally I thought a few astute signings along with an introduction of talented youth was all that was required along with a vision implemented across the club to achieve in a 3 year period what we had always wanted and secure the future. I don't advocate moving away from our historical way of supporting the manager but we do need to move with the times and quickly evaluate what is best to ready the ship ITFC in a fashion that is respectful to our history, owner or manager..... Perhaps if we had had a reasonable rub of the green this season we might be 6-9 points higher and we wouldn't necessarily be having the conversations we are having on here......BUT my initial view on PH being appointed was with a few astute signings blended with faith in our youth, along side an ACTUAL vision from the top to bottom of our club we might be very much under estimated this season. But time works for no man, the practice of giving our mangers time is admirable and as long as it is seen that we do things in the our historically respected fashion, we need to move with the times and act quicker than we normally would. So many people on here have pointed out what we consider to be the basics and it is so obviously clear that at any level of our club things are not right. No disrespect to others of a differing opinion but you have to take a step back without any favouritism and call it how you see it. If the foundations aren't right the fortress of PR will fall. PH might be the right guy in the right place at the wrong time, who knows, likewise ME might be the wrong guy in place at the right time for the manger. The reality is though, the team walked off tonight with heads almost as low as their feet. We should try and separate ownership feelings and manager issues from the team. Our place is to let the team know on a match how they are performing and try and keep it to that, some sort of perspective, good or bad. |

Let's give the guy a chance could be win all round. Gary Rowett is highly rated and he was a fixture in his team Just because they are a bit of a shambles now doesn't make Him a bad player!!! He's not responsible as he's not playing K |

If ME doesn't think the club is worth backing with more investment, how can the club expect the average loyal supporter to more invest time and hard earned money?? Surely the powers that be need to lead by example?? |

Appreciate where we were and what MM has done but I agree with u bluefeast. I want and get hope when one of our own or preferably a bloody few get promoted from the youth set up each season like in the old days. Some might say that is s bit behind the times, I just say Southampton and I'm sure there are more if I really put my mind to it, it's what we were built on FFS |

In an ideal world I want the ball on the floor and automatic promotion please. Anyway back to reality, if the compromise is neck ache and a shot via the play-offs I'd settle for that. The prerequisite being, I want to see us developing the younguns, at that seems to be lacking. J Emmanuel should have been given a chance during the season and may be a couple of others on the bench also |

Not sure the inconsistencies of the championship season are a true barometer of an international call up, but good luck to him, he'll have gained some down to earth football experience playing in our league |
