Surprise him. Defuse the situation. Establish a common interest like taking him to Portman Road for a game (or something else that you can converse around). Somewhere in there is a human being and a potential Town fan :) Listen to what he really wants. Let him know that you want a good relationship with mutual respect between you as neighbors and with some simple rules you both can agree upon going forward, whilst clarifying your view on what has transpired and what is acceptable. Seek a common ground and build for the future. Humor is sometimes a powerful ally. Release stress and find a happier life, without giving up on what is right. |

The way the 2023 team has been playing lately, I wouldn't rule out that they might have gotten into the Champ playoffs back in 2000. Regardless of quality, the football has developed since then. |

To put it in other terms, our mindset is 'rotary' and circular, it needs to be balanced with directness. |

Our opponents score against us in ways that we don't score. It's almost like we are surprised that goals can be scored from such positions as it is a little beyond our view of how goals should be scored, in the box with all opponents summarily beaten and outplayed. It is almost like our players think the opponents are cheating on us and waiting for the ref to give a call against such goals. Our players don't themselves consider such positions as great opportunities to score. This is part of the problem, partly because we then tend not to score such goals while becoming predictable and we allow the opponents into such positions that we deem not 'dangerous'. |

It's taken off here in Scandinavia and is very popular. It was a sanctuary during the pandemic, which helped that development. Personally I have been playing 4-5 times per week now for quite some time. The kick smash is working ;) |

In the month of May, in the year 1981, Ipswich Town FC deservedly won the UEFA Cup trophy and as a fan you were in heaven. Simultaneously, however another hero passed, his name being Bob Marley. The king of Reggae and an avid football player. Two starkly contrasting events that both have made deep and long lasting impressions. |

We are currently 5 points off from projected position 12 in table. A steep ask for September? We would probably need 10 points during the 4 games of September to make position 12, thus claiming a total of 13 points come end of September. So here's hoping, 3 Wins and a Draw... So we did slightly worse than anticipated in August. My low expectations of position 15 in the table turned out to be too optimistic as the actual position is 21, just below the drop off. August: 15 (Actual: 21) September: 12 October: 10 November: 10 December: 6 January: 5 February: 5 March: 4 April: 3 Onwards and upwards. [Post edited 9 Sep 2021 19:34]

The next Anglia derby draw will see the scales tipping back in our favor again. Slowly, but surely. |

Quite understand both perspectives. No debate here probably because of the echo. Who is in the right? Time will tell. Maybe... Take care everyone. |
