Actually it is booing after 21 matches though isnt it?.PC has been in charge for 21 games and won 4.A record which would raise questions at any club in any league. [Post edited 21 Aug 2021 18:51]

Yes judge him on this season ..1 draw 2 losses...promising isnt it.I have no axe to grind with Cook but the patience afforded to so many managers at ITFC is admirable at best and blind loyalty at worst.Last seasons results cannot be ignored because they represent his ability to make an impact and how quickly he can implement his ideas and wishes to any players.I would be concerned how much time he needs to do that ,if he can at all, because the signs are suggesting it may be a slow process. |

Problem is that the football played may be more to some fans liking but results are what matter. There have been many teams including the team up the road who have played attractive/better football than they were judged to have done in the past but in certain divisions and situations you have to do what is necessary to get results. All that belief that its ok to lose 3-1 but play expansive ,pleasing on the eye football wont get you out of league 1.Attitude,flexibility and an understanding of each opponents game may be better. I will put my neck on the line now and say that the Paul Cook influence on ITFC should have shown more improvement than it has whatever excuse for it anyone cares to offer. All the best as always to you all. |

If you have carpet it is a pain but tiled/laminate/wood is ok .Just give it a quick sand down then wipe with a clean moist cloth, wipe it dry then mask it off.Dont overload the brush with gloss and spread it as quick as you can mate. |

Firstly i would like to say hello to you all.Probably best to admit that my whole family are Arsenal fans but we grew up watching ITFC as our second team .We lived fairly close by and i saw my first Ipswich Town game aged 5 and still attend reasonably often with my children now. Anyway ,from an outsiders point of view i see many similarities between The Arsenal and Ipswich Town. There has been a mutual concern for how the clubs have been run,a dislike and maybe anger at both clubs decline and an impatience for things to improve. Both clubs have signed players designed to improve their team and the early signs are they may be not be the answer or they need more time.No one really knows...not even Cook or Arteta i dont think. So i guess the only answer is to wait and see although i totally understand that after years of disappointment people will be impatient and want to see improvement sooner rather than later...and why not? All fans surely have the right to question appointments/signings and proof of improvement .Training should be where the gelling, learning how to play with your team mates is done and honed to the best level it can be ,and then match day is the time to implement and show what has been taught in that training. Anyway i hope i have not upset too many with my thoughts .All the best to you all,Richie |
