 | News Comment | Town Trio in England U21s at 13:44:30
I am not complaining - but how does Alex Scott qualify to play for Men's U21. Have they changed the rules to allow one retired woman player? For the avoidance of doubt - this is an attempt at humour (and to prove I read the whole squad list!) |

Oh Shoot - I have now become one of those annoying multiple posters ... so easy as nothing happens when you click "Add Comment" so you click it again .... and again ... and again ... then you realise you look like a prick! |
 | News Comment | Walton Nominated For January Save of the Month at 19:36:39
I've voted for Walton - not only because he is ours, but also because I genuinely think he (or Reya) make the best save. As others have said, those from bigger clubs will likely get more votes so it depends on the weighting between fans and the "experts". more interested in a clean sheet at the weekend to be honest! |

 | News Comment | Burns and Broadhead in Wales Squad at 16:21:31
Linkboy Wes may not have looked happy on the bench, but not as unhappy as when his HUGE mistake gave Everton their first goal. He seems to know that he is way off his best and I'd hope that being taken out of the firing line at Town would give him chance to come back hungry.... Also I HOPE that a good game for Wales might give him a boost too, same for Broadhead who knows that his time will come if he keeps showing he is ready and willing |
 | News Comment | Cardiff Match on Sky at 15:14:10
Just for some balance ... whilst I agree that football should be played at the same time for all clubs for total fairness in preparation etc ... I also would like to put in a word of thanks for the ability to watch some Ipswich games via Sky Go. I live away from Ipswich and could never afford a season ticket so cannot get tickets for home matches due to our EXCELLENT home support - then, under the new scheme I cannot get to the one away match per year I used to be able to either due to our, er, EXCELLENT away support With only Tuesday night games on Town TV I have stopped my subscription and am glad to be able to watch some of the Sky games, and for "free" too. So - whilst I agree with all the above comments ... I also disagree and at the same time Up the Town |
 | News Comment | New Rotherham Date Set at 14:11:10
That's a treat for me - was looking at an evening in with nothing to do before this. Agree with all the comments above stating the previous game should have been called off much sooner ... not least once the nearby railway station was flooded. |
 | News Comment | Tuanzebe Still in Suffolk as Town Talks Continue at 12:19:12
Just a point that I do not think has been reflected in the comments above ... If we need a CB - we have to get an out of contract one as window is closed til Jan If he needs a club he can go anywhere as a free agent. so we CANNOT look elsewhere (other than other OOC players) I do not know why we have not signed a CB in the window, but it is possible that this guy is the one that the club really want? I GUESS we are offering a short term deal with extension options ... I GUESS his agent wants a 15 year deal on £1 mill a week!!! Sounds to me like he will be signed at least til end of Jan - short deal like mass to prove fitness ... and if it goes as well as his signing did we will be laughing all the way |
 | News Comment | Town Confirm Scarlett Loan Signing at 18:58:31
I admit that I knew nothing of this guy. Looking at the videos it wouldn't surprise me if he wasn't equally played at 10 as well as 9 he is a very different type of number ten to those we have, and it will be like two up top when he plays at 10 too ... he looks exciting and let's hope it is a very successful loan year for club (s) and player alike :-) |
 | News Comment | Wycombe Confirm Vincent-Young Signing at 13:25:54
Cannot underestimate what a great signing this lad was ... what Burns has done for us now he began to do before his injury. Like others, I realise he has not YET regained the form he showed prior to these injuries, but I am hoping that he regains this form with a good long run in the team (Which an in-form Burns would never allow him here) |
 | News Comment | Woolfenden: We Do Our Talking On the Pitch at 12:45:10
Many on here said he was weak in defence and should be replaced ... also, it is a bit over-generous to ourselves to say we stuck with the team through thick and thin ... what was our average attendance two years ago when it was thin? THAT SAID (for balance!) YET ANOTHER amazing travelling crowd AND another record for iFollow passes (that is where I had to watch). Yet another sell out crowd for Saturday... I just wish that Town could find a legal way to show all games as then we would have a full stadium AND a good following on TV I am sure - will be REALLY hard to get tickets to see us live next year, and whilst I regret that, it is only testament to just how darn good we are at the moment. But for me the best thing is the fact that all our players are full of smiles and are so obviously "personally and emotionally invested" in the new "project Ipswich" --- so good to be part of our great club. COYB 100% hoping for 100 points and 100 goals :-) |
 | News Comment | Ipswich Town 6-0 Charlton Athletic - Match Report at 18:42:03
Phil - my only complaint today and in this write up is the headline! We didn't beat 10 men - we thrashed 11 who then became 10 very late on. I know it is a standard phrase, but the way it looks takes a little of the shine off an otherwise great day. :-) |
 | News Comment | McKenna: Luongo's Bringing a Lot to Us at 17:08:39
Have loved it with luongo beside Morsey. Just a minor point which I am TOTALLY AWARE THAT KMK KNOWS...... If we play our best then there is a VERY IMPORTANT Job to do the following week.... Ensure it is consistently achieved..... Our lack of consistency during our blip may will be what costs us promotion through the possible lottery of the playoffs (still hopeful we can catch Plymouth though) |
