 | News Comment | No News on Williams Loan Extension at 15:20:14
Have we allowed Edwards to go to free up funds to pay more of Williams wages to allow us to keep him 'till end of season I wonder? |
 | News Comment | Taylor: Gills Fans Will Take to Marriott at 10:18:57
Would be nice if Town fans could get a chance to " take to Jack" as well. Hopefully next season if not toward the end of this one. COYB's |

I'm that convinced that Carlos would even consider moving to the Midlands. His family are very settled in Ipswich. |
 | News Comment | McCarthy Looking to Add to Defensive Options at 16:46:54
Crafty old sod is our Mick. He's already got his target players lined up. Would b surprised to see Stearman back here. But I do hope he's got a creative midfielder in his sights. |

Utter garbage Mick! You need to grow some ( your words) and try attacking opponents for a change. God knows , we might actually WIN a game !! |
 | News Comment | Skuse Hoping "Best Boss" Stays at 07:54:54
What a pity the Club's "Best Boss" has had the deceny to tell his own players/ owener exeactly what he intends to do. Q: Does he want the IPSWICH job? |
 | News Comment | Still No FAI Approach for McCarthy at 14:02:45
If I was MM I think I might starting to take the hint form the Irish - "no approach yet". Maybe they don't actually want him !!! |
 | News Comment | McCarthy Speculation Continues in Irish Press at 12:51:03
Sadly MM clearly wants the Ireland job. Lets get this done and dusted so our Club can move on and appoint a new manager. The ongoing speculation WILL harm the continuity / form of the team. On a separate note: Had we this time last season been given the option of having MM for a 1 year period and whose remit was to keep us up, and receive a bonus to achieve this goal but would then move onto another job. WE would Im sure all have taken this short term strategy. MM achievements for ITFC have been breath taking , given what he inherited. Ignore what he was paid to achieve that goal : He's more than earned it IMO as he (and Evans actions in bringing McCarthy in) has saved this Club from oblivion and the outlay of MM's contract and reported £1m bonus pale into insignificance when compared to the loses we would have incurred had we been relegated to League One. ** IF he does leave us , I would want us to acknowledge what he has achieved and done for Ipswich Town FC and "Thank" him for this, then move on to a new era. He and TC have definitely left us in a far better place. Maybe the time is actually right to bring in another manager with a more attacking ethos to take us to that next level? |
 | News Comment | An Absolute Pleasure to Watch - Notes for Burnley at 13:35:54
maybe thats why they are now doing so well. Because they arent now a "one man" outfit and are actually a more cohesive "team" where every player knows/ understands his role in that team. Not too dissimilar with what MM has done here at Ipwich! |
 | News Comment | McCarthy Increasingly Viewed as Ireland Frontrunner at 15:19:50
All of this speculation would end in an instance if the main man would come out and categorically distance himself from this job. So how about Mick: Which side of the fench are you on ITFC or The Irish International job. OUR CLUB DESERVES SOME STABILITY. Speak up Mick and either end this speculation by saying you are and will remain Town s manager, or go quickly so we can find a replacement!! |
 | News Comment | No Portman Road Return for Wickham at 15:31:20
Its just so frustrating that young players with potential tend to see only the £££ signs. Thats the one thing Keane has ever said that Ive ever agreed with, when he alluded to the fact that young players get their heads turned by the rewards and flash cars and fail to keep their heads down and concentrate on developing their game and getting the basics right. CW is just yet another example of a young player singing for a club in the PL ( not even a big club tbh) and expecting to just slot into the big time. He should have stayed at Town fora at least 3 more seasons. He'd have developed some much more. Instead he's spent most of his time bench warming. Big loss to HIM as well as us and perhaps even England. |
 | News Comment | No Portman Road Return for Wickham at 15:04:41
Seems to have been a downward slope for CW since he's left Town. He rarely plays now it seems. Still, he has a nice looking bank balance. eh ! |
 | News Comment | McCarthy: We Need to Be More Ruthless at 21:07:55
The player that will get the goals for us is just returning from injury. Taylor is the man that must be played for some minutes in every game now so he gain match fitness. Problem is MM likes a target man not a terrier. |
