 | News Comment | Broadhead: Amazing to Score Four Goals Again, But We Need to Remain Humble and Keep Going at 11:27:23
These are happy days though I reckon we need to continue this run of form for a good while yet to rival the Burley side that finished 3rd (so nearly 2nd!) in the Championship in 2000 with Magilton, Holland and of course Marcus Stewart. That team went on to hold its own high up in the Prem for a bit too. Still, loving these free-scoring times at packed out PR, we deserve this after the last 20 years of mediocrity, thank you K McK! |

Clearly the likes of Leif, Broadbean, Chappers and Samy are fine at this level and could even get us well into the top half come May 2024. The likes of Wes and JD who are brilliant at League 1 level were fine today. However, massive shout out to our centre-halves who were both immense! Would love another signing or two. On the whole, great character and a fantastic 3pts away from home! |

Desperately need a striker, much like last season (other than early weeks with Bonne) we can create plenty of chances but never put them away. Not sure if Ladapo is the answer, whilst he didn't play tonight, I don't think we have anyone else currently with Nors gone. |

Evans and Morsy work so well together at this level, they know each other and control everything in midfield which allows the likes of Edwards and Aluko (this evening) to get down the wings and cause trouble with their skills + supply to hotshot Bonne. Better still Burns/Celina in those wide roles if fit. An embarrassment of riches! Just need to keep it tighter at the back and we'll out-score everyone incl Sunderland and Wigan. If everyone keeps working hard then we'll be play-offs by Xmas then who knows... |
