A MESSAGE TO THE PLAYERS STAFF AND SUPPORTERS OF LEICESTER CITY. Grow up. World Cup ref Graham Poll backed Attwell's decision: "Stuart Attwell was right to start the game, sensible to take a 15-minute break to ensure pitch markings were visible and right again to complete the fixture. Another ex-top flight official, Jeff Winter, concurred: "The conditions did not seem to be affecting the players that much. The only problem was that quite a lot of the pitch markings were not visible.” That makes two top referees plus the guy who was in charge all happy for it to go ahead. The pitch WAS NOT frozen. It was basically a normal pitch that had a bit of snow on top. The snow laid and you could see the ball still rolling quite nicely. At half time they made the lines visible and there was a break in the second half to do the same. Only in the very late stages of the game did the snow start to really lay. At that time there was 10 minutes or so left and no way the game was going to be called off. It was NEVER dangerous. It was simply that your players didn't fancy it. Had you been 2-0 up you know full well you wouldn't be coming out with all this nonsense about the players safety. The fact you seem to be overlooking COMPLETELY is that the game went ahead because the pitch was fine and during that initial 30/40 minutes we were 3-0 up. Any argument over the pitch is irrelevant. Are you suggesting your team didn't play and conceded three on the basis they could predict the snow would start to lay in the last 10 minutes? Rubbish. Grow up you sore losers. You are useless away from home anyway. |

Er Sven the w/c 29th November means playing on the Tuesday 30th or Wednesday 1 December. As we play Norwich on the Sunday we will play WBA on the Wednesday. Simple stuff. |

Jason mon. Now I's know that some people say that Keano is a 'badjohn' but de truth is he's a 'sweet to bad' manager. I as no doubtin' that there are many a Championship defence that contains defenders that you and Carlos can make a 'Bobolee' out of. You'll be 'Makin Style' your skills for sure mon 'Now fuh Now' cos you is a fine fine 'Saga Boy'. We is all behind you brother and if TG says tings then bear dat she is a ''Cunumunu'. Respect. Aye! |
