Pre season friendlies streamed
at 22:55 24 Jul 2025

Nice gesture by the club to offer free streaming for the next 2 pre season friendlies. Don’t particularly won’t to watch on my mobile, does anyone know how to transfer onto a smart TV, please?
Thanking in advance.

I re-joined the club in 2023 but noticed I have lost 5 points from my accumulated total. Has anyone else had this too?

Having read the Mark Ashton’s article in today’s programme I agree we are in a stronger position than we were 12 months ago both on and off the pitch. I also reckon the jump from division 1 to the Premiership in consecutive seasons was too much, but we have learnt a lot from it. I hope KM stays and leads us back into the Premiership next season.

I also felt it was inappropriate and said so at the time.

I clapped the Bergen goal back in 2002 but the circumstances were different. We were 6 or 7 in front and it was showing respect to a semi- professional opponent. Agree clapping Jamie Vardy scoring against us was wrong but clapping him off the pitch correct. Gary McCallister received a good reaction from us at Anfield in 2002.

He would be ideal and great to see him come back. That experienced head at the back would be invaluable. He’ll do for me.

Toffees on the train loved us
at 23:51 3 May 2025

I also felt the Everton fanswere a credit to their club today. I met many on the train, bus to and from the ground etc. and all were knowledgeable, respectful and genuinely complimentary about us. Our fans in the ground were terrific too with great banter with Everton. The guys worked bloody hard on the pitch and deservedy the draw. Just seen the highlights which emphasised that. Had a good day.

Just climbed Snowdon
at 15:25 29 Apr 2025

A very fit 70 year old pal walked me up Cadair Idris (in Snowdonia) several years ago when I was in my mid 60's. Very steep, difficult but worth it - never again!

Fair play to the Newcastle supporters
at 09:20 27 Apr 2025

As a veteran of the 70’s I’ve always been bit self conscious of wearing colours at away grounds. Yesterday I didn’t feel at all uncomfortable walking to and from the station or on the platform. Several Newcastle fans spoke to me and all were respectful and polite. Great fans, great club and great team and I wish them well next season.

Sadly need to get rid of programmes
at 16:52 28 Mar 2025

Reluctantly, I have decided to get rid of 40 plus years of Town programmes accumulated over the years, home and away. Twenty-two years worth (1977 - 1999) are in the club folders which were a friends deceased father who sadly suffered from Alzheimer. Many others are also in folders or boxes and are from matches I attended.. To save throwing away, or depositing down the dump, I would happily pass these over to a 'good home'. I don't want anything personally for them but a donation to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated as the friend who travelled with me both home and away in the UK and Europe also has Alzheimer's and has had a stroke very recently.

If we had a manager change 2 months ago
at 22:12 22 Feb 2025

I’ve been watching Town for over 50 years and KM rates very high IMO and has achieved so much in so little time. Clearly previous entries would like him too stay as I would too and hope he does. The learning curve in the Premiership is very apparent as emphasised by the promoted teams this season and last. I believe we were promoted too early but obviously good enough to do so. Clubs have been promoted, relegated and returned a season or so later stronger and better equipped - Bournemouth comes to mind.
