Town 1-1 Norwich - Match Report
at 17:14:39

Just back to sunny Berkshire after a thoroughly enjoyable day!!!!!!!The pre match and first half atmosphere reminded me of the great days of the 70s.We certainly deserved a goal(or 2)first half and how edgy were Norwich management, players, fans.Superb fight back and just remember how much they've spent compared to us and we certainly matched them all the way.Slight blip second half where we sat back and stopped playing ball on the deck.I thought Skuse was easily man of the match(how he has progressed this season)Shame Sears found different role difficult to adapt to but ran miles chasing down the opposition. We needed a stronger ref who could see what was going on off the ball.Certainly still believe we can achieve next week. Thanks to MM/TC/Players for this season and for remaining on pitch at end;definite signs of superb team ethos.Still believe Wembley is achievable.

21,000 Tickets Sold for Home Play-Off
at 21:57:27

Of course we want a full house but if it's less then we will be missing the half empty contingent. The ones who are talking us out of any chance:perhaps they forget our last semi final v Arsenal and that class striker Priskin scoring the winner.Anything is possible if we create an atmosphere in all areas and get behind the team for 90 minutes(or 95 if Noël Hunt plays!!) Can't wait.COYB

Town Announce Norwich Play-Off Ticketing
at 15:35:31

Tractor boy I am not aiming comments at anyone. All I think is that MM/TC/Squad have worked wonders this year so at the moment the whole fan base should be united and get over the line to the Promised Land.Yes it's difficult regarding ticketing but that's a sacrifice I believe which comes from supporting your local team. The 4 matches I mentioned were home games for me geographically as opposed to round trip of 250 miles for Portman Road.Perhaps we could all unite for the next 2/3 games for the benefit of the players then find a separate forum to discuss issues/complaints re ticketing.Keep the Faith.

Town Announce Norwich Play-Off Ticketing
at 13:45:31

Usual negativity from certain quarters. That will be why the atmosphere away from home is usually better(Charlton,Brentford,Watford,Fulham etc) because of loyal fans who don't find any excuse to moan. Its true in life with choices so if you don't want to go just watch on Sky and let's fill Portman Road with positivity like we did in the last play off semi final!!

Blackburn Rovers 3-2 Town - Match Report
at 00:18:55

Let's just keep the positives going.I think it's tedious the people who are still thanking Reading.Yes they beat Derby but over the course of the season we have played well enough to deserve our place in the play off lottery.Yes it will be difficult but hope that Norwich suffer the 3rd place hoodoo!!!I would rather meet them in semi as opposed to final.Does anyone know if we can have Varney/McGoldrick next Saturday.Keep the faith.

Blackburn Rovers 3-2 Town - Match Report
at 16:07:27

Let's not forget it's not just about this afternoon.Over the course of the season we deserve to be in the top 6.i firmly believe that we look a better footballing side with Bru and Anderson(and possibly Varney)Let's just support MM/TC and the squad for the next 2 Saturdays and get us to Wembley. How good to see so many positive comments and a disappearance of the moaners/half empty brigade.Keep believing.

The 21st Minute
at 16:43:48

Very emotional review.I fully understand everything you've written and have much in common(especially remembering early days at Portman Road and possibly being at same school so Saturdays proved difficult!!!) Good to know we continue to follow Town although we have moved away from the area.Heres looking forward to a positive outcome on Saturday and a trip to Wembley.

Town 2-1 Nottingham Forest - Match Report
at 19:55:24

Just back after witnessing a positive, hard working performance. How emotional was that scoring at the end of the minutes applause.Good to see the respect shown to those who lost their life in the Bradford fire.Glad to see no one is blaming Berra after his performances this season.Cant help but think Bart needs to dominate his area a bit more.Thought we were much better once Varney,Bru and Anderson came on.It was back to 4 3 3 and playing football to feet.Just take first half/last 20 minute performance to Blackburn next week.Well done to everyone who was 12 th man today and those who remained at the end to congratulate the management/squad on a successful season.Whatever happens look at the squad for next season with possibility of additions.Keep the Faith

McCarthy: No Magic Plan for Two-Game Season
at 19:13:27

Thank God the majority of Town fans remain positive. As a supporter of 50 years I have witnessed the good and the not so!!!With the wonderful leadership of Sir Bobby Robson we came close to League 1(old Premiership!!)Titles and adding to FA Cup final appearances.Even though it didn't go to plan Ipswich fans remained loyal.Irrespective of what happens MM,TC and the whole squad deserve our backing.Who would have thought we would be in this position after the home defeat to Norwich. Those of us who have followed home and away have witnessed marvellous support(especially at Southampton,Charlton,Watford and Fulham).Lets remain positive and see what happens.Whatever the case we will show everyone what True Ipswich Fans are all about at 3.21 Keep the Faith!!

Williams Injured as U21s Lose
at 20:25:28

Cant understand how Jonny Williams can warm the bench for the first team then be expected to play in Under 21 side.Surely a few 20 minute sessions(just when defences are tiring)would have been more beneficial.Hope it's not too bad and we at least see him play again before loan expires.
On a different note does anyone know if there's a sell on clause for Arron Cresswell with Chelsea reportedly offering £20 million.

Wolverhampton Wanderers 1-1 Town - Match Report
at 15:07:36

Almost the same team as last Saturday and Tuesday the only difference being no negative comments after those 2 games.Mick/Terry have done their best with limited resources this season and built a team with a work ethic to be proud of.If the football/work rate are so poor why do so many of us follow home and away?We will still be 6th with 2 games to go which hasn't happened for a very long time.Surely now is the time to support the whole team(but especially Berra,Sears,Murphy)Two minor points though:why sign Jonny Williams if he isn't going to play and when will the conspiracy theory re David McGoldrick be sorted out?
