Hello all, I'm a Masters student studying journalism at the UEA and I'm currently finishing off a piece about how the Covid-19 lockdown has affected sport/exercise from the biggest events down to personal experiences. I would be very grateful if anyone on here would be willing to share their experiences on how they've been getting on with regards to the above topic during the last few months, be it from participation (maybe you were going to run the marathon, you've had to stop your team sport, you've had to adapt to working out from home rather than at the gym, maybe it's had a negative effect on you, maybe you've used the situation to improve your physical/mental health through exercise etc.) or simply as a spectator (perhaps you were looking forward to jetting off around Europe for the Euros, maybe watching live sport is a big part of your free time and it's left a hole, equally any opinions on spectators being admitted back to Portman Road would be welcome if you have an ST/are planning to return if possible/aren't planning to return for safety reasons). Again, I'd really appreciate any contribution. The piece will be published online (eventually) so am happy to take anonymous submissions as posts under this OP if you want to contribute but didn't feel comfortable putting your name to it. Alternatively, I'm very happy for anyone to PM on here to discuss the matter. I do have another account on here but created this one to separate the usual discussions from this (I'll answer favourite cheese questions on a quid pro quo basis). Thanks in advance for any and all help, Henry |
