 | News Comment | Club Defend Mascot Charge at 21:09:13
My lad was lucky enough to be a mascot last year at home and for the cost we got 2 complimentary tickets, he warmed up on the pitch,he got a lot of official photos, he went into the changing room pre match and met Mick and the players, he got a bag of signed goodies and a trophy and he was introduced by Rob Chandler to the crowd. He also got a pic with his favourite player and led the team out meeting officials etc. I'm really struggling to see what an extra £150 is going to buy on top of this. |

‘...it ain't f****** me, mate, it's him over there,' I don't miss Chopra one little bit....... If you can't stand together with your team mates, you're not a team at all - on or off the pitch. So glad things have changed for the better! |

Matchday costs are expensive - but I can live with the costs in the bars and the kiosks as its optional to buy the beers and pies in the ground but matchday tickets? They are pretty steep - I'm nuturing a 6 year old fan against those who think following a club in London or Manchester is the way forward! He loves going to the games and wears his shirt with pride but normally it'll be on the kids for a quid (or a similar) promotion. I'm not expecting near on free tickets but a fairer ticketing price structure to encourage the youngsters to get along and 'hook' the next generation of fans would be fab.. |
