 | News Comment | Bree at Portman Road as Town Close in on Loan Signing at 15:38:17
It would be a shame to lose Pennington, he has been a good player, but, He is not a right back and if we keep him I feel its either chambers or Pennington at right back which still leaves us weak in the midde. I think it has to be done thanks Matthew for your hard work and effort |
 | News Comment | Beattie Statue Appeal Total Hits £11,000 After First Day at 16:48:03
Warkys tash I fully agree I am sure the club will make up any shortfall(yeah right as if) but this would be nice to be a fans tribute to the most fantastic player. I was lucky enough to drink in the Belstead Arms in the late 80s and would even sometimes have the honour of giving him a lift into town I have never met a greater man. I question to you Phil if you see this is it a charity the collection. Just means gift aid and also company tax relief which would help raise more? |
 | News Comment | Sears: I'm in My Best Town Form at 17:02:19
the time is coming, when we finally win I honestly believe we will shoot up the table. WE Will be top 12 this season I would put money on it. I for one am not ruling out the playoffs. lambert will turn this round and get us safe and better. |
 | Blog Comment | Where Did It All Go Wrong for Paul Hurst? at 16:59:12
Great article well written. My biggest problem with Hurst and I think cost us a lot points was the discipline. We have a history of being a clean club even with the Butch(hero). we got too many yellows and reds and that shows desperation. I wish you best Mr Hurst but we now have a proper manager and he is getting a team of League one players looking like mid table which to me is a great job in 2 weeks |
 | News Comment | Derby's Waghorn Move Dealt Blow at 15:56:51
At the risk of being minued into oblivion. Derby are having to be careful to not get a ffp embargo, QPY have been fined 42M and a transfer ban. As I have said before and will say again this is why we are lucky to have an owner who wont break the ffp rules |
 | News Comment | U23s at Lowestoft at 13:57:04
Currently stuck in Ashford hopefully getting home to Lowestoft in time for match to my 5yo and 4yo. Anyone know what the prices are. COYB!!!!! |
 | News Comment | Town Granted Permission to Speak to Hurst at 09:47:50
And note for Sunderland and Mr Ross. This is how you go about getting a new manager. Honest and through the proper channels no dodgy dealings. The way ME has dealt with this has just shown what a decent owner we have. Upwards and Onwards COYB!!!! |
 | News Comment | Sunderland Set to Confirm Ross as Town Prepare to Formalise Hurst Move at 11:00:32
This just shows that Town are still one of the decent clubs. ME must be praised for his dealings in this he has been professional and decent. Jack Ross to me is a money grabbing con man. He has gone behind the backs of ST Mirren and as for Sunderland what a bunch of **!!*&^. We have done this correctly and Hurst has been the consummate professional gentleman and look forward to seeing manage my beloved blues. |
 | News Comment | Sunderland Agree Terms With Ross at 14:08:55
Statement from ST Mirren chairman "So unless there is some major skulduggery going on then it's nonsense. To hold talks with Jack, there we would have to grant permission, as has been the case with Ipswich and Barnsley recently. But we've had no contact from Sunderland at all." So either its rubbish or he is a very dodgy dealer and we do not want him at Portman Road |
 | News Comment | Nydam Delighted to Beat First-Team Starts Target in First Senior Season at 16:23:12
Hey come one King of Portman Rd, He has a fluffy tash so at least 14. I honestly believe has has the ability and class to become a town hero. From his comments at the end I presuming were not aiming for promotion next year. I am very positive for the future we have the core of a team and mark me down if you want but I thank Mick for that. He has built us into a top mid table team from a relegation team now we need an energetic modern manager to push us on that final step. The more I think about it STeijn is the guy for us now. |
 | News Comment | Gerrard Linked With Blues Job at 23:58:31
IF we are going for inexperice I would say Kuqi or Holland as both are very much dedicated to the cause if not I would not complain at Burley back. |
 | News Comment | McCarthy: We've Got to Stick Together Or It'll Really Go Pear-Shaped at 11:31:22
sadly it is time for mick to go but i may be the only one who would like to thank him. he has done a job on a very limited budget but the fans have turned on him which for ipswich is very sad days best of luck Mick i wish you well and dread bext seasons relegation unless evans stumps up a massive transfer kitty and takes the risk of a ffp transfer embargo the season after. |
 | News Comment | McCarthy Now Favourite for Barnsley Manager's Job at 14:02:59
I actually believe Mick has done a fantastic job for town. Had he not come in and saved us from relegation I honestly believe we would still be in League 1. Sadly though I think he has take us as far as he can, and I do believe that is mainly down to funds but also to the relationship with a small part of the fans. If he moves on now or in the summer I will be grateful and thankful for all he has done and wish him the best, and hope whoever is appointed can take us on from there. |
