It's probably just as much a case of the club protecting their asset as Omaril not being in the right mind. It could have been Omari getting injured and 40million for the club down the toilet. |

It's not really though is it, there is like 3 or 4 decent international womans sides that are not made up of part time players. Spain and England are bankrolled by their respective wealthy mens leagues and should be competing for every major trophy with the resources they both have. It's great for the country to win it but the media do like to over praise it a tad! |

A lot of people on here had it in for him before he even played a game for us, banging on about how he let so many bad goals in at Burnley and how their fans were glad to see him go. I think he was on a hiding to nothing from day one!
I would love to see him back in goal this season and prove all the haters wrong much the same as Hladky did the season before. |

I agree and would be surprised not to see him back as number one choice at the start of the season. Some of the hate for him is so over the top, I saw Palmer do some of the same stuff that did not even get a mention. Some seemed to have it in for him before he even kicked a ball last season! |

I think to many on here are deluded reading all the embarrassed comments, we were up against it from the off after two promotions. We could have spent 300 million and it probably still would not have been enough. In this division you need at least two 20-30 million players for every position just to compete with the other teams, we have about 5 in the whole squad and also had loads of injuries along the way.
As a club we are in such a better place than 3 years ago and have so much to look forward to, the club under Marcus Evens was an embarrassment not todays club. |

He was carrying an injury and played on to help us out last season, he then had surgery in the summer and has not really had a run of games to get up to speed whilst still helping us covering for Hirst! No one really knows how good he is as circumstanses have not helped. |
