Just a point - is it logical to buy a player who recently has achieved a great haul of goals as he may never do this again. Conversly of course he may continue in this vein of form but it may be more unlikely than likely - we shall no doubt soon see the results this season. Another factor is that any new manager may use the player in a different role to the one he is used to. I rest my case. |

Yes we appear to have squandered millions on some of our acquisitions and only time will tell how well we can get out of it. As to the manager it should be refreshing and healthy to be able to voice ones opinion.My take is that yes the boy done well to achieve the two promotions but on more recent form he is lucky to have his job.What other club would tolerate such an appaling run of results. Lets see where we are in a few weeks time. In theory in money terms anyway he has one of the best sets of players but what can he do with them that is the acid test.If he cannot produce the goods then step aside and let someone else have a go. |

It is looking a bit doubtful whether Philogene and Muric will come good.It must be a concern in some places that so much money including wages has been risked on these two. Do such signings have to be sanctioned by the top brass or do certain members of the club have a free hand. Paying Premiership money for players who do not look like ever being capable of playing in that division.Hopefully all this can at some point be resolved without too much pain. |
