 | News Comment | Huddersfield 0-0 Town at 18:46:53
What's more important to the vile gold-digger Mick? His million quid or the reputation of itfc, his own reputation and proper footballing entertainment? Answers on a postcard. How can anyone claim to be a fan of the club under this revolting invisible man's ownership? Answers on the same postcard. |
 | News Comment | Coach McCarthy Amongst Exits as New Boss Brings in Wolves Scouts at 17:48:25
The invisible man gets his advice from the best in the football business, says Clegg. And he has a complex scouting network. Result: bottom of the league, -25 gd, bunch of hopeless loans and unemployeds, worst set-up in the club's history. Don't think scouts really matter. |
 | News Comment | McCarthy: Point Gained at 18:25:11
Fantastic result. Not letting in six and gaining a point. Can't ask for more. Quiz question: what have Mick and 'Arry got in common? Clue: £££ yes please. Reputation : couldn't give a monkey's. |
 | News Comment | Davis Linked With Town Return at 11:09:57
TWTD are reporting that Taylor has been arrested in connection with an alleged serious assault. It is not clear how TWTD got the name of the footballer. If, as alleged, Taylor was involved, then Clegg's position as CEO must now be untenable. There is a list of other incidents involving current players that is harming the club. He should be managing these people, but is failing to do so. He should resign. The humiliation of ITFC goes on and on. |
 | News Comment | Hewitt Making Mark on New Boss at 10:31:15
Town don't have any hard-nosed professionals. Hewitt isn't injured. He has a condition they are trying to correct with surgery. |
 | News Comment | Martin Going Nowhere at 10:29:39
Martin is like the schoolkid in the playground chasing the ball all over the show but getting nowhere. He's had long enough to make a mark. Get rid. |
 | News Comment | Crystal Palace 5-0 Town at 11:13:28
Comment from a Palace fan on the Grauniad website: Quote I feel your pain, as a Palace fan (and not here to gloat) we've been there and brought the lovely overpriced replica t-shirt. We were awesome last night (although played better against Blackburn on Saturday) and it is invigorating to see such a young, dynamic and skillful side. In contrast, Ipswich and you summed it up beautifully with 'disjointed rabble of begged and borrowed' looked terrible and so far off the pace. Nigel Reo Coker, being bypassed in midfield when he clearly has the attitude of being a top Premier League player being particularly sad. We tried the short term loan route (no jokes about Simon Jordan and hedge funds) under Burley, when half the squad was random journeymen drudged up from God know's where. One, maybe two can add something, but anymore and it's impossible to build any sort of coherent team. I actually think McCarthy will do a good job but from where I sit at Selhurst (just to the left of the dug outs) he looked very down beat last night. Good luck to Ipswich, we've been there and hopefully, as we are proving at the moment, there is light at the end of the tunnel. End of quote. |
 | News Comment | Crystal Palace 5-0 Town at 23:36:07
ITFC is a disaster, a fiasco, a mess from top to bottom. 'Can we play you every week' sang the Palace fans. When they weren't laughing. No player in white is worth mentioning. These men as a group (not a team) were disconnected, slow, ponderous, easily beaten to the ball, talentless, lazy, unthinking. And all of this hopelessness was emphasised by the fast, skilful, eager Eagles. Forget McCarthy. He's too old for the job. Give him a flat cap and let him disappear into Last Of The Summer Wine. The cause of every ill at PR is the invisible man. Vote him and his poodle out urgently. |
 | News Comment | McCarthy Era Starts at Birmingham at 17:13:37
Imagine you're in the bookies with your last tenner, you're starving and you have to bet on Birmingham against Ipswich. What are you going for? Congratulations, invisible man. Picking Mick McBullshiitter, you've scored a hat-trick. The sooner you clear off, the better. |
 | News Comment | Lengthy Deals for New Duo at 23:28:32
Holland will get a job, we understand. He will select and train a player to run round the perimeter of the pitch, at the end of each home match, with his hands aloft, clapping and looking as if he means it. McCarthy, Holloway, Uncle Tom Cobley and all...pick whom you like. Won't make a blind bit of difference. |
