 | News Comment | Delap Nominated For Young Player of the Season Award at 13:08:57
Huijsen will get it. Very surprised delap hasn't been sent off tbh hahaha he loves pushing players in the back but I suppose that's what makes him an attractive/effective player, doesn't shy away. He hasn't always been at it though. Our young player of the season, yep, not many others to choose from though. not our player of the season though,it's cajuste for me |
 | News Comment | Newcastle United 3-0 Ipswich Town - Match Report at 17:39:32
Some of you guys are absolutely deluded and your negativity bores me to death. "look here i've played football manager for a few years and know better than someone with over 15 years coaching experience." It's the premier league. It's getting to be almost impossible to stay up first time. We'll be back. |
 | News Comment | Wolves Win to Open Up 12-Point Gap at 13:34:16
Some people are deluded. We haven't been badly managed, sure KM is still learning, but all managers make mistakes, he'll be better off for it, and so will we. We haven't made bad signings, we acquired what was available to us. Coming straight up from 2 divisions, it was always going to be a long shot. Any promoted team coming up these days has to fight tooth and nail every week and still may only stay up by the skin of their teeth like Forest the other year, and they have built on that. Maybe we'll still so it, you never know. But the club is not in turmoil, let's not be deluded about that. |
 | News Comment | McKenna: We Watched United Game Back as a Group at 20:09:45
I'm surprised the Maguire pullback on Delap hasn't been talked about, everybody's saying not enough in it to be a penalty. United got given a foul just like it. If it's against the rules, and he's blatantly held him back with both arms, then why isn't it a foul everywhere on the pitch? This was so insanely blatant, have we all gone fudgin crazy? What is happening to football? |
 | News Comment | Burns and Ogbene Left Out of 25-Man Squad at 00:32:26
If that's what you think of burns Lee James, then I'd love to know what you would have thought of Finisi George in the second half of 01/02 hahahaha |
 | News Comment | Bruce: Baggott Outstanding at 11:01:01
I agree Arnie, I am still absolutely convinced that given the chance, he will be a top player. He has a great attitude and seems very grounded and determined, and is obviously very athletic. Possible future captain even. Give him a contract. Get him playing regularly in championship next season, whether that's with us or out on loan. |
 | News Comment | Liverpool 4-1 Ipswich Town - Match Report at 18:05:53
Ok firstly repeated the same as after the City game... IT's LIVERPOOL However: 1. Dissappointed that we weren't pressing from the off, we just sat back. Just asking for trouble and I want to see us have a go at least, even if it is liverpool. 2. Philogene seemed a bit shy, thought he'd try and take people on a bit more and be more fearless. Burns doesn't really do it anymore, guess he's lost a bit of pace in the last year. You'd expect young new signings to be a bit more adventurous. Surprised McKenna was so conservative to be honest. Sit back or not, Liverpool are Liverpool, so we might as well have a go. |
 | News Comment | Enciso Loan Signing Confirmed at 11:40:20
Yes Wussinwhiteboots funny we signed 2 Puskas award nominees from the year that Burns should have won it, but didn't even get nominated. |
 | News Comment | Ipswich Town 0-6 Manchester City - Match Report at 19:17:11
Guys.. It's City. Regardless of their recent form, they're one of the best teams in the world. We weren't terrible. We could have been 2-0 up 20 mins in. I'm not under any illusions about being in this league though. We move on. Enjoy every good moment while we can. |
 | News Comment | Ipswich Town 0-2 Brighton & Hove Albion - Match Report at 23:06:32
You can say we were awful in 2nd half. But their high press was just so good, didn't give us any time on the ball and they're to good in the air any time we lumped it forward it was theirs again. Wings were our best shot, and burns got some good crosses n shots in, we might have created more but Omari was a bit off it though. They've been a class team in the prem last few years. Not surprised at this result, they were up for it after their run. |
 | News Comment | Burns: My Role This Year is Slightly Different at 10:06:17
Not humble at all?! You don't get anywhere from where Burns has come without humility. I will ALWAYS love Wesley Burns, if only for THAT goal. He's a part of ITFC folklore now. But also for the fact that he's been a big part of this great teams rise. They all love each other you can see that. It's sad to hear of some of them starting to move on, it is, alas, the nature of the game though. Burns and Chappers you hope will survive the cull though? |
 | News Comment | Philogene at Town For Medical at 11:58:40
@CharlieWoodsNotebook That is absolutely sick man hahaha I love it! A variation could be: Philogene, is the one, gets the ball, starts to run, now he's scoring for fun |
