Marcus Stewart interview / Bolton 2-2
at 20:38 14 May 2020
Loved reading the interview with Marcus. Everyone talks about the 5-3 but I always felt the 2-2 game was superior in terms of quality. The second leg was quite a nasty, ugly game but the game at the Reebok that Sunday was superb.
Also I don't think there's ever been a play-off game with so many fine players on show. Gudjohnsen, Jensen, Stewart, Holland, Magilton, Holdsworth, Johnston, Scowcroft two excellent goalkeepers.
Two things I remember from the game was how bad Manuel Thetis was for us and how well we played in the second half when we ran rings around them. Plus the groans when Stewart pushed the ball unto his left foot instead of shooting when he went around the keeper to make it 2-2. One of my favourite Town goals I;'

A great choice of name by Boris and Carrie. I predict this will see a plethora of babies now named Wilfie. Good to see some old names brought back to the fore. Jack, George, now Wilfred. We need more Victors and Reginalds.
Smoking guards against Coronavirus?

It appears that the numbers of smokers who have got the virus is very low, far, far lower than it should be if it was not a factor.
There is a theory now that nicotine may guard against the virus. This would be amazing if it proves to be true.
Town's new kit 2020-21

Any news on the upcoming Adidas mark 7 kit for the Ipswich?
I have to say Adidas have failed to live up to expectations since 2014, bar the superb first two home kits and the first tangerine away. Would love puma or hummel to step in.
I reckon it'll be back to white sleeves and the away kit will be a strange black number.

Good evening ladies and gentlemen.
Surprised it doesn't seem to have been mentioned on here but Boris made a great speech today following his release from hospital. Its a great morale boost for the nation at this difficult time for everyone that he is recovering.

Let's show our appreciation for the flying Dutchman, a man who always seemed to have time on the ball. It's hard to believe he is now 61.
As for the above photo, is this not the most beautiful Town kit ever? 1988-89. And the yellow badge beats the red one hands down. It's 25 years since we changed it but I'd love it to return.

I'm surprised this hasn't been mentioned on this political viper's nest of a message board, but thought it was worth testing the views of the woke twtderatti.
I'm not surprised he's been acquitted as it was yet another underhand attempt to undo the election result of 2016 by lunatic Nancy and co. The Democrats should have spent the last 3 years rebuilding and looking ahead optimistically to 2020 with a positive campaign. Their lack of strategy and brains will cost them heavily as Trump romps home once more.
