Embarrassing, especially as Roy was heaping praise on Ipswich's performance and manager. The yokels letting their lard out are situated in the family section as well. The story made the back page of the Daily Mail sport in a big feature and included the quote "F*** you Keane." Great publicity for the club. I also think they are way off the mark regarding Keane, if you want to blame someone for our decline and relegation it has to be Paul Hirst. Things were mediocre with Jewel but it got even worse when Hirst arrived and started getting rid of our best players and swapping them with lower league ones. |

Town "fans" abusing our own goalkeeper at the Peterborough game, what a disgrace. Henderson is a loanee but he is wearing Ipswich Town colours at the moment. Nothing like getting behind the team. He's really going to improve with numpties on his back like they abused Bywater at Scunthorpe a few years ago. I personally would like Loach back in goal but I will support whoever is in goal wearing the Town shirt. |

I can't see Jewel keeping us up if he is allowed to continue. This season's results have been frankly appalling and any other club would have got rid by now. I implore you Marcus Evans to act now before it's too late. Nobody deliberately sets out to fail but Jewel looks like an increasingly beleaguered man at the moment and if he felt the strain keeping Wigan up year on year and then the Derby fiasco what must he be feeling like now with the disastrous results we've had to endure. Who to replace him? Well I think either Neil Warnock or Billy Davies would do a better job, both controversial volatile characters but I think either of them could sort out the mess our club finds itself in. I think if we get hammered by the Hammers then Jewel's position would become untenable surely? If he does stay then I hope he finds some decent defenders as soon as possible. |

Shane is better than the current dross being picked by Jewel week in week out and is on a lot less money too. Jewel keeps on about Ipswich being a long term project but the way things are going he won't be here to see his plans through. Perhaps we are going to do the reverse of Huddersfield and go on a record losing streak with our Dad's Army team. Anybody looking forward to the Leicester trip on Boxing Day? God knows what Nugent and co will do to us. The third Burnley goal has just slipped in, how much more of this crap can we take? It sounds like one way traffic at Turf Moor, depressing stuff. If Jewel stays we will be heading for League 1. Sort it out ME pronto before it's too late. |

It should be called the Sir Alf Ramsey Stand, do the decent thing ITFC. Sir Alf won us the top flight championship and put Town on the map. He was England's only World Cup winning manager as well which makes me a proud Town fan. He's got a magnificent statue but I feel he deserves to have a stand named after him. We should all lobby ITFC on this issue although I fear the money men will win once again and it will be given some crap corporate name. |

Perhaps Bobby Ferguson could take some training sessions with the current team. He would put the fear of God into them and I'm sure they'd soon improve. He could give Jewel some new ideas on tactics and formations too as he used to with Sir Bobby. |

Josh is keen as mustard, takes people on, tackles hard and shoots too. He must replace Leadbitter on the right of midfield. It was like Groundhog Day last night watching Leadbitter reminded me of when Magilton played Garvan wide with disastrous consequences. Lee Martin gave the ball away a lot when he came on last night as well. Pick Carson for the Peterborough game, as for him being out of condition look at the state of some of the old codgers currently playing in our side at the moment. He's young, fit and has bags of energy. |

Another humiliating defeat, Jewel blaming eveybody but himself. He seriously underestimated the Cobblers and showed a lack of respect by making so many changes. Ipswich were deservedly beaten and the only ray of light for me was Jay Emmanuel-Thomas who looks a decent player and always wants the ball. No wonder the league cup is dying out when managers like Jewel pick such dodgy teams. |
