Just found this by accident tonight. Jeff Stelling presenting and covering live highlights from every Prem match. Has this been around for a while? (Appreciate it will only be when Amazon have their weeks of coverage) [Post edited 4 Dec 2024 20:30]

Thatās a great analogy. Iāve had a season ticket for years and until 2 seasons ago did 4 or 5 away days a season with no trouble getting tickets without a membership. Fair play to those who could make every or most away games for the last couple of seasons and have gained the points. Just donāt see the benefit of trying to get on the away days now as a new member, even with the ballot I just canāt see getting many or any tickets if 10k have already signed up. Good luck to those having a go! And if anybody gets a spare, give us a nudge! |

The option that the club had was to consult with fans prior to photos of their seats being ripped out on social media appeared. It has been shambolic. I completely understand that the structure would need to change to accommodate more away fans.
Speaking as a D block season ticket holder for nearly 10 years, we stuck with the crap years thinking that if we ever made it, weād have some of the best seats in the ground. Friends have had season tickets since D block was formed, and they didnāt even get the pathetic email that was sent out.
There is no equivalent option. Many of us couldnāt get through on the phone on the Tuesday that we were advised to call, with the option to arrange premium seats in one of the other two areas, West āYā and South āXā. Block Y had gone except for RV seats before midday, and they donāt come close to the D block package.
Yes, weāre just going to have to deal with it, but Iām sure most fans wouldnāt be happy with losing their seat if there is no equivalent other option.
I think itās a bit harsh to suggest that if you donāt like it, give your seat up to somebody else in the queue. Itās certainly taken the edge off promotion for those affected, largely due to the manner in which it has been handled. |

Trouble is, thereās no real alternative in terms of view and match day experience.

The majority of D block season tickets are personal season ticket holders! Iāve been there for the last 9 seasons. Disappointing if this is how we find out that weāve been hoofed out! |
