Crikey!...didn't foresee him going to a fellow Championship side (certainly not Swansea)...a bit disappointed to be honest maybe in part due to the club not giving him a decent enough contract to stay here and more likely as a few others have mentioned getting regular first team starts which a bit unfairly he didn't get last season.

Personally think it would be too much of a gamble for them to hire Andrews whose basically only been a set piece coach at Brentford for a year...NO coaching experience at all. In my opinion I think McK will still be in the picture (unfortunately). |

Obviously some Premier league clubs rate him, we obviously did otherwise we wouldn't have bought him from Burnley now their interested in getting him back with their defence...overall last season it took sometime to find his feet but as the season progressed did get better.
I'd rather we kept him but with Tuanzebe, Woolfie, Hargreaves, Burgess and Townsend should have enough to cope, it's central midfield that worries me. |

It will be interesting to see how he gets on with a side which will have far more possession than us...we know his strengths are his strength, aggression and pace but will that suit him at Chelsea? he can be a blinkered at times and should pass at times but I suppose he's still learning. |

Still hearing guff about it was 'a season too soon' for being promoted - it wouldn't have made any difference! Only difference would have been our Championship/league one players would have had another season together, you still need the quality to compete in the Premiership and our involvement in the transfer market in both windows wasn't particularly brilliant and those who largely got us up struggled. |

Well that was just too much to ask for anything but a loss and that's the 9th one in a row to end the season on a dismal note.
West Ham didn't have to do much to score 3 goals and we had about as much of the ball as we've had for quite a few matches but still huff and puff to get one...it's the same old same and nothing has changed all season, we've been hopeless as soon as we turn the ball over.
Thought Broadhead did okay...too exasperated to type anything else. 2 months off! |

So far I haven't seen anything that proves Philogene will be great for us next season, posters are expecting him to be based on the gulf in quality between the 2 leagues!
I'm hoping Townsend alongside Burgess (if he stays) O'Shea and Tuanzebe will be far more formidable at the back but this in turn depends on the re-set in midfield as this has also been an attributing factor why we can't keep clean sheets this season. |
